HANSON IN BURY TALKS

Sheffield United striker James Hanson in talks with Bury over a proposed loan move, Sky sources understand.

He has made just two appearances for the Blades this season.

Very few League One clubs can probably afford his wages, so unless he is willing to take a pay cut, I think we're stuck with him until the end of his contract. I can't fault him to be fair, it's probably the highest wage he's been on so why should he give that up when he's 30 and never going to get himself another big contract.

Isn't his contract up at the end of the season? I presume they're probably paying all of his wages so wouldn't really make any difference.

I agree monster target man but always thought he wasn't a league one player with the ball at his feet. Never seen a striker so reluctant to shoot for quite some time
