Souza's obviously first pick but the run of games without him showed we don't really have any other option there so it was encouraging to see Choudhury able to do so much dirty work. Personally, I'd like to see Souza and Davies together, but we need options and Peck is one of a few that's desperately needed a rest. Good start.
This is exactly as I see it.

Great debut from the lad. Looked like he had been playing all season for us. Proper destroyer in midfield and looks decent on the ball. When Hamer comes back to offer more going forward we will have some midfield.
I think we will see a starting midfield of

Souza - Choudhury
O'Hare - Hamer - BBD

The bench/rotation options would then have
Davies, Peck, JRS, Brookes, Brewster.

Looking much better

Much as he's done well for us i can see OHares place being under threat. With 5 at the back and 2 defensive midfielders the other 4 have to be proper attacking goal threats and OHare hasn't been. His pressing and all action style has been crucial for us but if we are playing 2 defensive destroyers that's not needed so much. I can see Rak Sayki starting instead of him especially when we play the lesser teams

Wilder is not dropping o'Hare

If you don't understand O'Hare's role and how important it is to our results, I honestly don't know what to say

While I don't think he'll drop O'Hare, I wouldn't be surprised if he played less minutes against Portsmouth as we're playing Middlesbrough a few days later.

He was better than I expected. Be interesting to see the squad dynamics once Hamer is back in the team, with Souza now playing a slightly more free/forward role. Hopefully that improves our creative output slightly.

Side note on Hamza: has anyone else noticed the amount of comments we're now suddenly getting from Bangladesh on our social media channels? You look on our extended highlights and it's comments about Choudhury all the way down. Even Ben Brereton Diaz's post match interview is full of Choudhury comments.

I had no idea how popular he is there! It's like we've suddenly got a new fanbase. From a marketing perspective alone the club has to see this as a hugely encouraging signing.

Yeah I’d agree on this. Last two games we’ve overloaded things up top and it’s made O’hares role irrelevant.

It works better for O’Hare when we play just the one up top, Moore usually and O’Hare is buzzing around in behind him.

He’ll get plenty of game time though as I think wilder still likes to have him in the side

I do understand his role, but if you don't understand how much football he's had without rest and what has happened to other players when they have played constantly without a break i don't know what to say

I think when Hamer is back and having brought Choudhury in Ohare will become part of the rotation, especially at home v lower league teams

Thought he had a very good second half as CDM. not convinced by him in the FB role first half though

First half he’s a poor full back. It’s not really his game. But needs must. Second half he’s supposed to be in midfield withPeck instead of Vini. But no, he fucks about doing what he did against Portsmouth? Plays the Norwood quarterback role and wonders why there’s no one in midfield to pass to. (Clue. It’s where you’re supposed to be Hamza). After a break in play you could see Vini on the sidelines with Knill bollocking him and telling him to fuck off upfield where he’s supposed to play. Much better thereafter.

Best game of his Blades career so far?

Best second half I agree with when moved to defensive MF

Thought he was poor first half playing RB

I’m coming to the conclusion that after today and last week at QPR, he ain’t no RB despite the comments that he can play both positions.
