Cannon needs to challenge for Campbell's place because at the moment Tyrese looks likely to score so Cannon needs to take his chances in a match.

A lot might depend on whether Campbell can stay fit. Wilder has alluded to the fact that they need to treat him with a bit of care. Personally I don't think we would have have paid that much for Cannon unless he was going to start more often than not. We had our workhorse in Moore, but his fitness is now an issue too.

So I could be wrong but I reckon Cannon starts most games, with Campell as the super sub and Moore when he is back, as another great option from the bench.

However it all works out, we do have 3 very different and (at their best) decent strikers to choose from.

Just driven down Cherry Street and there was a lorry in the car park dumping a load of pallets off with 'Frizz Ease' written on the sides.

I’ve no problem with HC as a player but I worry we are going to see VS and HC as the regular two …and if we do, where are the forward passes and runs going to come from? HC doesn’t strike me as a similar Blaster type player 🤷🏼‍♂️

The difference being that we never mix it up, and / or have any fullbacks with pace to get beyond their full back.
We brought Moore in to get on the end of balls into the box, but have never created anything for him by getting beyond the fullback, to the line and pulling it back.
We do not create sufficient chances
I agree we don’t create enough chances and the full backs need to push forward (Burrows does it rarely and should do it more, Gilchrist can’t and Seriki does but has shortcomings) but the problem is not the wingers.

The problem is not the wingers if they are used as wingers but to use them as “inverted” wingers we need the full backs to get beyond them, they do not. So we either change the tactics of the wingers or the full backs.

I think Burrows does that, tbf. I've seen lots of overlapping runs from him.

Gilchrist doesn't though. Just not his game.

Last year Vini was constantly frustrated at having no one to pass to going forward so often had to turn and pass backwards.

This year I have noticed that he always tries to pass forward when given the opportunity, always trying to get us on the front foot. He also has quicker feet than given credit for. With Hamza as the stopper it would give Vini the freedom to be the more progressive midfielder.

Or I could be wrong. But the two together would make us very solid in the middle

I agree and he would win the ball higher up with hamer and ohare in tow

Leeds are currently playing a 4231 formation against Burnley and if Souza and Choudhery are the 2 defensive midfielders for us that would give us a great platform for a 3 of Hamer, O'Hare and BBD with Cannon/Campbell as the lone striker.

Think that would work.
