Reading the actual journalists (not kids on summer holidays) from the Leeds end it seems that they're pretty confident they can get Hamer.

Presumably from our end it has to be a bid of around £20m for that to happen, even then my worry is we've got a load of cash and no time to spend it.

There's more than a few twitter self-styled "journalists" that are trying to launch themselves as Fabio style transfer reporters. A telltale sign is the picture of a random bloke in a suit as a userpic.

Posts littered with eye and signing emojis but struggle to hide their club allegiance and frequently indulging in goading rival fan bases is another giveaway. Leeds seem to have a lot of them and they're all appropriately twattish.

The stuff yesterday about personal terms being agreed all originated from some obscure Dutch account and then was just repeated time and again, becoming more and more certain with each repost. Still never got repeated by anyone with any credibility beyond Leeds based fan groups with a vested interest in getting clicks from chumps.

I don't know the names & going through my algorithm on X that changes from one minute to the next isn't something I cba to do. You click on one post related to Leeds and the next minute my feed is filled with the w*nkers . Most of you on here have said recognised journalists are saying the opposite which I'm hoping is right and it sounds like I've fallen down the trap of a load more school kid who want to be journalists. I was basing my post on their bios and who follows them, which probably means f*ck all.
