Leeds don’t have many surplus players knocking around the squad is very thin atm and well why throw an established player into a deal with 48 hours to go thereby creating another hole they’d need to fill.

With Gelhardt and Chambers why throw them into a deal it would knock much off our asking price what would you value Gelhardt at a couple of million? Chambers 500k at absolute max but likely a lot less doesn’t seem to me that it would knock much off United’s asking price and with Chambers presumably if we were willing to accept him in a deal it means he’s viewed as a good prospect and it seem Leeds rate him why throw him into a deal as a small time make weight piece

I actually think that Leeds have got no chance on this. If it was a PL team, I would be concerned as I could see the owners caving in, but surely they must have at least an inkling at how we would react if we sold to a promotion contender, especially that lot?!

It would hardly be an auspicious start to their tenure and building a relationship with the fanbase.

Its a mixed bag to be honest, I've seen both sides. I think the Leeds fans are giddy, my personal fear is that these things dont tend to go away in the final week of the window. Must be an unsettling time for the squad.
