If that’s accurate it’s a poor bit of business especially given his contract situation
I’d be accepting of flogging him for some form of (decent >£2m?) profit given his (financial) value is only likely to diminish as he (& his contract) ages.

Given that we bought him for a reported £15million (not sure if any add ons due to Cov) but has to be the minimum. I would even argue a min of £20mill mainly due to him being a first team regular player and we aren't under any pressure to sell. It's time we played hardball on some of these clubs that think they can pick up cheap in the Championship. Yes maybe in a case that you need to sell to balance the books but this season we are ok.
