Nothing concrete in the Hamer rumours, however definitely wouldn't be against more first team football for Peck - would think Hamer and O'Hare would be fantastic for his development

Shame if that pushes through as i think, with a clean slate and his head right, Anel is a weapon in this division and gives us a lot going forward alongside a stopper.

But I guess if we can get 8-10m for him and bring in Worrall or Mepham for half that then it’s good business for what we need this year.

I like Anel but he is definitely easier to replace than Hamer or even Vini (on current form).

If we get £17m for Anel why would £1m to £2m difference sway this decision? Surely you get the one you prefer if it's that close.

Mepham hasn't played a lot over the past few seasons and has been injury prone, Worral is rock solid and real leader. Worral all day long for me if those prices are correct.

On the plus side, both, particularly Worral, would add even more leadership to the team - something CW is obviously keen on.

If Anel, leaves I wonder if we will go with signing a younger more mobile centre half, who can develop/increase in value, rather than a Worrall/Mepham. Given we have Souttar to step into Anels starting spot for this season and who fits a similar profile to Worrall/Mepham. Robinson, Souttar, Worrall, would be a granite squad of centre backs at this level, but as you say we lack an option with pade/mobility and Robinson and Worrall are unlikely to see return financially whenever they move on and its also questionable if they have a Premier League ceiling should we get promoted.
