This isn't the nicest question I've ever asked, and from the things I've heard I have a small understanding of what happened with Dane, but why is their such bile and hatred towards ainsworth? as someone who was too young to remember it and no one in my family to ask I've just gone along with the hatred of him without really knowing why. Whitehorse was a legend and Ainsworth ended his career with a shocking, deliberate assault. And he behaved like a total cunt afterwards, not apologising until Whitehouse's old man made him.

My first thoughts were for a tiny EFL League 2 club so very nearly knocking out a moneybags Premier League club on their own ground.

Perhaps if Ainsworth had been managing a Championship club then I'm sure I would have felt differently.
