My thoughts entirely, Blackwell's insistence on playing him somewhere whatever didn't help us 2 years ago.

He was the only threat at Wembley that we had thats why Burnley marked him with two men.

IMO, Halford was our biggest threat most of the season last year. He was outstanding from January onwards. I'd love to see the lad back; Blackwell seemed to be the one who could get something out of him.

With the number of injuries we had this season he'd have been invaluable to us.

Plus he's got a throw in like a Sidewinder missile!

Halford would be a teriffic signing but there's no way we'll get him. We're one of few clubs where hes settled and performed well.

He can play in a number of positions but that's not to say he's not good in any one position, he found his feet on the right wing in the second half of the season and was superb. He was vital to our solidarity away from home.
