We came from 3-0 down to draw at Wigan in that miserable Adkins season. I’ve blocked pretty much all that era out my mind but do remember that game.

Think they won the league that season too which made it even more of a strange result.
Apart from the obvious ones I thought of this one, I listened to the radio and when we were 3-0 down the utd fans were singing "we,re f*****g shiiit" , then 20 mins later they were singing "your f*****g shit!" 😂

Reminds me of the "3-0 and you fucked it up" after we drew level during the playoff semi at Swindon.

Not a big comeback, but I remember us winning 2-1 at Northampton in Division 4 after being a goal down with 5 minutes left. I was listening to it on the radio and it sounded like we were playing awful but then Mike Trusson scored twice in the last 5 minutes.

This was a time when games weren't aired live and they just went back for reports every 10 or 15 minutes.... so it was like, let's return to the County Ground where the Blades were losing 1-0 the last time we were there.... cue me jumping up and down in our dining room when the excited reporter said we'd won!

Lol I remember that like it was yesterday
I was on nights in those days when I worked at Davy’s on Prince of Wales Rd
Kept nipping into our shop stores where they had the radio on and just as you say I thought we’d lost and then when we went back to the ground at full time I’m sure the commentator started off by saying “surprise, surprise” I was stunned but fkin elated

Away at Barnsley midweek in the mid 80's. 1 down with about 5 mins left and won 2-1. Duffield penalty (?)

Preston at home, around Christmas time 2000. 2-0 down and came back to win 3-2, James Thomas with the winner.

Not much to get excited about in those days but that game was fun
Was gonna mention that, great game!

As a 15 year old I went to that match without my parents knowledge. Frisson’s goals were almost identical but if truth be told we were dreadful and deserved nothing….. not that we were complaining!

My two personal favourites (apart from Forest game of course) were fa cup game home to Burnley when we drew 2-2 and the Blackburn semi with Mitch ward scoring to take it to penalties. Was there for both so fond memories

Coming back from a 2-2 draw , we all know what happened 2 minutes later.
The best. Thank you Mark Duffy.

Oxford at home in 2016, we were losing 2-1 at home and Wilder was looking a forlorn figure on the touchline. The James Wilson last minute winner turned things around, and not just for that game!

Watford away 2-0 down won 3-2 think jags got one 🤔

Those are the two I always think of.

For Preston, David Healy opened the scoring about 5 minutes into his debut. Warnock had already said he was jealous of Preston being able to go and get him!

I also have to make my obligatory mention of the man who scored both of Watford's goals and generally tore Bromby's arse out that day - one Darius Henderson.

On a side note, Watford had the best stewards I've ever encountered.

West Ham in the Premier League, 2-0 down early and roared back with a cracker from Whitehouse and goals from Paul Rodgers and Brian Gayle. It was my first night match, too.

In fact, we all thought Rodgers' goal had been scored by Flo (and I think it was announced as such) until we saw the replay on Sky in The Albion afterwards.

The Preston one was great. They were a good team, whilst we were upper mid-table. We’d just sold Bent to Blackburn I think. Preston had just spent 2 million on Healy. He scores on his debut, Mark Rankine makes it two.

Interestingly the game the following season was basically the same. Outplayed in the first half, kicking towards the Kop. 2-0 down at half time. Think Cresswell scored for them.

Second half Brown and Santos equalise to pull it back to 2-2.

Warnock for all his faults was a great half time motivator.

Good Friday 1968. Away to Liverpool at Fortress Anfield. Pool were chasing the title, we were fighting relegation. Went 1-0 down but won 2-1. Cooky (from Donny) and I hitched there and back. The return was easy - we got a lift back on the team coach who spotted us in the gathering evening gloom on the East Lancs Road. 😁

I was going to say this, I was at this one and it's still one of my favourite away days, so many Blades around me left before the end!
I was at that too with London Blades. I remember we were on a makeshift wooden stand. Great setting but needed to get a train from Brighton to get there. 20 years ago! Bloody hell. There are very few of original LBs in London now.

I can't remember much about the game but I'm sure we won 4.3 away at York in old Division 4 with 2 late goals one a Mick Trusson header.

Surprised no mentioned the 10 minute comeback at Shrewsbury when we were 2-0 down

Edit:I'm sure we came back from 2-0 down against someone in league 1 when Ben davies scored winner unless I'm dreaming

If I recall correctly - Preston were superb that first half and David Healy, an impressive signing from Man U, scored on his debut. Their side also included Chris Sedgwick (champ man dream signing) and future Blade Mark Rankine.

It was a superb comeback. I'll never forget that game because I had a teenage strop at the half time whistle and stormed out of the ground, got back home just in time to find out, via Teletext, that James Thomas scored the winner.

Remember it well. That night I was to go on to meet the future Mrs BB.

When you think about it, the 2-2 at Stamford Bridge was an outstanding result for a newly promoted team away at the Europa League holders.

2-0 at half time, many teams would have gone on to lose 4 or 5-0
