Came out of the traps on the front foot and we made it count early doors.

Hull try and stamp themselves on the opposition away from home... they try and stop play and disrupt momentum, therefore we played to ruffle feathers a bit and it worked.

A big mention for Bogle, particularly first half. Love how he pushed on to almost make a 4-3-3 at times.... he was sublime, both in and without possession.

Another positive first half from Berge. A bit more drive and some very clever through balls. Perhaps should have hit the target with the header, but by the time it came back to him he was perhaps out of puff ..

All in all it was enough.... Hull are well drilled and we made them very ordinary. Will take that result all night long

I thought Ull looked good until the final 3rd. But full credit and they gave it a real go. It’s shit when teams sit off, time waste, try to stifle. That was a good ol fashioned proper game of footy. And for me it shows (again) that we can do the ‘hard yards’ too. Great result. Great win

We absolutely deserved to win. They had talented individuals who never harmed us, and they literally created one chance all night. And that chance looked offside to me (without the benefit of a replay).
