Surely the ones in south stand have had season tickets for donkeys, they would’ve got access pretty early to booking their ticket and would’ve had the pick of the ground to choose from?
I've had to move 2 rows forward from my normal seat on the South. I'm not sure if it's got heated seats like mine though. Be disappointed if not.

Spot on.
I went online early on Sunday and had a large choice of seats in the SS.

Wonder what they'll make of having to queue for t'shithouse n all. Loads a young lads int way powedring their noses and that.

Never thought of this with the ticket fiasco but a bloke just phoned RS and pointed out all the elderly folks in the south stand and family stand who have lost their season ticket seat could be going on the kop.
He pointed out that fans spend most of the match standing up and these old and infirm supporters won't see much of the game. So sit darn you selfish sods.

To be fair it's the people expecting fans to sit down on the Kop that are the selfish ones.

We should always strive for free choice with options to keep everyone happen.
If you want to sit there was plenty of seats in the John Street stand and JS corner.
Everyone knows the facilities on the Kop are relatively poor and the back half stand most of the match.

Absolute tripe and just a reason for an unnecessary pop at the club.

Standing on the kop is limited to the back 10 rows or so. It's not Anfield ffs.

And those people have had ample time to buy their seats on the side stands anyway. So it's their own fault.

I don't think thier knees will love the standing up and sitting down every time a united player runs into the opposition half.

I once took the kids on the kop, they were saying thier knees hurt by half time..
Try being 6 foot tall and sitting on the kop with your knees mushed into the chair in front and then tell me your knees don't hurt. It's why I stand up.

I have one adult and one child's ticket on the JSS, it's no better there and when my little one doesn't attend I'm glad I have the extra space next to me to sit side on.

When you're 6ft 3, no seat is particularly great. Always prefer to stand because of it.

Got my seat booked to watch match here...in front of a nice 65 inch tv with glass coffee tables to put mi beer on....
don't tell BCM though...(shushhhhhh)

I've taken my eldest (she's 6) to a couple of cup games on the family stand so there has been room to sit side on. But as I'm on the kop I'm used to standing up, and when there's an attack I get up out my seat (on John Street) and feel the daggers in my back to sit down. Each to their own but my god, don't let others enjoy themselves too much.

"Will tha sit dahn"

Even the stewards have warned me about "persistent standing". Up and down at moments of attack isn't persistent.

Depends if we're persistently attacking lol.

Our seats are just in front of the gangway entrance so less of an issue standing etc.

I have a mate who's season ticket I sometimes get gifted, they have a former Basketball player sat next to them (smashing bloke BTW) but he's sat there with his knees on his chin..

Funny enough the seat behind him always seems available. 😂😂

My last 3 seasons I've stood up at BL on the kop, I stood up all year away this season, we do need a standing section, but only on the kop do they do the attacking hokey cokey...

Probs go in the BLUT for my next season ticket, you never miss a kick.

Exactly. So why would a season ticket holder who as the same seat all season WANT to bag another seat ?
To attend the match, because if they want to they need to buy a ticket.

What did they expect? They’d have had to buy one anyway. They had two extra days, then five more and it’s still not sold out.

As an old git with knackered joints I think the kop is brilliant.

If I sit for too long my knees seize up and I can hardly walk.

Similarly if I stand for too long ( away games) my knees seize up and I can hardly walk. This is doubly difficult at the end of the game if the exit is down the steps.

I'm fairness to our fans most are usually helpful in giving me space to stagger down one very slow step at a time.

Alternately standing and sitting on a regular basis works wonders for my knees and the uphill exit is fantastic.

My conclusion is the the middle of the kop is obviously the best place for us old gimmers

If I had only got the option of sitting on the kop, I wouldve just sat on my sofa.

If tha's 6'3" and stood up, how the fook does tha expect any normal sized poor bugger behind thee to ever see owt?
'kin selfish nuct!
😀

Think I know who the ex Sharks basketball player is, and yes, he is a huge unit.... And an exceptionally nice fellah as you say.
