As Bill Johnson mentioned surely this has to be one of the few times we want them to win?

I honestly can't ever remember wanting them to win, but if it means them taking points of Norwich & Leeds I'll celebrate any Wednesday goal as load as any pig.

As for them getting into the playoffs I'll admit I'm a bit more worried than I was a month ago, but still confident Villa or Preston (or both) will have too much for them in the run in.

And even if they do get in, would seasons come much better than watching us go up automatically & watching them crash & burn in the semi's?

If it's still all to play for come the Stoke match and I don't get a ticket I'd just be happy watching it in Champs if it did happen.
(atmosphere was great Saturday watching us on the telly with fellow Blades rather than the alternative of sitting in The Nags with only me actually bothered what's happening on the screen)

Like I said earlier I changed my mind about us doing better than just the playoffs after watching the Leeds game. It's not against the law

For that to happen we'd need to be 13 points ahead of Leeds as they kick that game off, having beaten Millwall earlier that afternoon.

Whilst is possible, it certainly isn't probable. And if it were to be the scenario, i'd possibly be relaxed enough to be happy with a Leeds win to put paid to any lingering PO hopes of them lot.

Much more likely that we go into that game slightly ahead or behind, and hoping for Leeds to drop points.
