Bizarre odds there. Players who don't even play for us. Defenders who never score. I'd rather take Taylor or Murphy at 2/1, never mind those odds, rather than Porter at 7/2. Trouble is whoever is top scorer will probably get sold in january anyway!

You could probably get those odds on Higginbotham to score first in ONE match.
To only offer 33-1 on him being the top scorer over the whole season is just stupid.

Interesting that the last time we were promoted we scored 76 goals but our top scorer only scored 11 of them.

He is utterly and completely useless, makes Chris Guthrie and even James washed up Beattie, seem like worldbeaters

James Beattie was involved in 19 games for us in League 1, contributing a grand total of 0 goals and 1 red card. Don't forget that while Beattie was sitting on his arse suspended after contributing sod bloody all for us that season, Porter was grafting and scoring the winner in the Stevenage game.

Regardless of his first spell, I can't look back at Beattie's time with us positively. His original signing was symptomatic of the brainless approach to finances we went with to spend every penny available after relegation. His second spell he was a shell of the previous player, with zero goal threat and an idiotic temperament that saw him get red carded when we most needed him to deliver.
