I can't see us signing O'Donnell if the other clubs are genuinely interested.
I wouldn't rule out Howard dropping to the bench though, despite Clough's vote of confidence.
Whichever goalie we play will look a lot better behind a pair of strong central defenders.

The Star article seems more reasonable than the other one which reads like Agent's PR published as clickbait.

Very good from Clough that Howard is Number 1, but it's form-dependent. Strong but not unconditional support.

I personally think Howard is a decent keeper for League 1, although that may because I remember the days of, Simonsen, Bunn, and Ikeme for us.
