10 goals in the last 3 games is shocking.... Monty been missing anything to do with it??

Or is poor defence coaching from blackwell and his crew??

How many have we let in since harper has been in the starting 11??

Something is very wrong!

Think a lot of it is the Killa effect at the moment, the defence aren't a unit and none of them talk to Killa.

It's not the coaching, the problems are so so simple that it can't be, its simple stupid mistakes.

We have no monty to run them down!

That certainly has an impact, but even without the protection, a lot of the problems/mistakes are schoolboy stuff.

Oh right, so it's Harpers fault now is it?? Jesus Christ!

Not Harpers fault, but the midfield pairing definately offers far less protection to the defence.

My 7 year old daughter said today Harper makes Little look quick, ok a bit of an exaggeration on her part but his mobility is shocking. I remember a player who was quick and ran all day, that's not we've got, maybe he is carrying some knock or other, but I thought today he offered some good moments but for too much time he was simply waving his arms around.

I thought Harper was one of the positives today, he showed passion and was communicating want the bench wanted to the players on the field, he was telling people to push forward and played hand in starting our moves, as did Stewart when he came on.

Problems are Walker and Killa, Killa was largely woeful in defense, showed passion in up front areas but didn't get his foot stuck in and looked rather pussy whipped. Walker's naivty is shining through, he played some woeful balls in the first half by just not looking up. Made numerous nothing runs and got caught out of position, when Glenn Little went off we lost a player covering Walker's runs as both Cott's and Walker would get forward together, whereas Little would hang back. Not to mention Walker let the ball bounce over his head a few times when he had the simple chance to win it, and this forced Morgan to cover him and dragged him from the centre half position and out onto the wing.

Kilgallon was defensivey appalling ,hit 2 volleys close to Norfolk Park and apart from Benno was the only player who didn't celebrate Hendersons 2nd goal.
Greedy wanker wouldn't wear the shirt again for me.

I thought Harper had a good game today. Killa was awful

killa should be dropped until this contract crap is sorted one way or another.
Fortune should get a start instead. We need players who are proud to wear the red and white, not ones who are whipped by their agents.

He has rejected a contract offer and has expressed a desire to leave so for that reason he should pack his bags and i'll wave him off!!

Such a shame because he was one of our best performers last season.

Funny how the absence of monty has turned him into a footballing God, he had a hand in 5 out of the 6 previous goals scored by the opposition in a run that started this shambolic period of results.

There`s quantity not quality in this squad, our top eleven is very handy, take any of those eleven out we hit the iceberg, then it`s just a question of will there be enough lifeboats.

i dont fink x goal keepers make a good manager. There havent been on the pitch and played football so that the reason i think y we just knock it up in air all the time

I love how you've edited that post for "spelling".

I thought Killa was average at best yesterday . However I am more concenrned about Morgan's dip in form.

At Scunthorpe,he appeared to have lost his 'spring' when he jumped for the ball and was muscled out on several occasions.

Yesterday,Bothroyd dominated him from start to finish and I thought his lack of winning the first ball caused us problems. In addition, whilst he was never quick,he seems to have lost half a yard of pace.

If both your centre halfs are off form,it doesnt surprise me that we are shipping goals.

killa broke into the box about 30 odd minutes into the 2nd half. All he had to do was loft a slow ball to about the penalty spot for somebody to pop it in. However the want away killa banged it to about 10 yards short of the corner flag near the family corner. If that don't deserve a new contract what does?
This was was just one observation of him. I saw him looking at the floor/ grass totally looking uninterested during one of our corners.
Stick him on the bench until he sorts his loyalties out.
Surely our so called academy has somebody coming through to fill his place.

Today Morgan and Killa were woeful
Walker is going backwards and Taylor is just not good enough
Stewart did ok but not in Naysmiths class.
We look vulnerable and gave away silly goals when Monty was playing and supposedly protecting the back four!

Taylor did more in 15 minutes with Treacy than Stewart did all game. Walker had a mare as did Little ,the right hand flank was empty all the first half.

I'm really concerned about our defence, there does seem to be no communication at the moment amongst them, Kilgallon looks disinterested, Walker is caught out of position all too often and both Taylor and Stewart look to be a lot less than what the required standard is.

stewart played well, i dont get what the fuss is about. i didnt applaud his signing as it seemed like just another shirt filler rather than reprofiled quality not quantity.

im SICK of hearing about how killa is disinterested, he is one of four players at the back, all of whom looked shaky and have done for a while - killa being a whipping boy and saying he has no interest etc its just pathetic. "i saw him looking down at a corner, totally disinterested" what poppycock! what about the two excellent volleys he had, one just over the bar the other brilliantly saved??? the so-called easy dink to the penalty spot which went astray was him scrabbling to keep the ball in with all his might, if he'd tried to kick it with his left foot it wouldve gone out so the only option was his poor right foot which admittedly sliced it - if he'd left it or tried the left foot, he'd have got barracked for disinterestedly running it out of play. the killa bashers need to get real - everyone goes through bad patches, it doesnt mean theyre mentally unwilling to give their all.

Yesterday, I thought Killa had a far better match than Morgan yet Morgan appears to come unscathed from any criticism. His defending for the first was laughable if you weren't a Blade!

They haven't been on the pitch? Where do goalkeepers spend the game? Sat in the Dog And Duck? On the beach? Are you actually clinically insane?

I wonder how it's possible to determine whether a mistake is down to being disinterested, or being in poor form? In any case - if he's not doing well enough for us now, we do actually have cover at centre half with both Fortune and Davies ready to step in. However, looking at our conceded goals the last few games, I'm not sure Kilgallon's form is the only problem.

Tot agree Puppet. There was an incident at 4-2 down when Chpra pulled Killa back in a race to a vital ball. Ref gave no foul, Killa got back and made a great tackel to prevent Chopra one on one. He's never been the type of defender to 'go through' people which is what I think it will take for people to get behind him.

He aint playing well and I don't think we'll miss him much but he has some pride I'm sure and will realise that a series of shite performances will not boost his earning potential

What I noticed looking through the matchday programme, is that we are conceding goals fairly evenly across the game apart from the 15 minutes after half time.

If you include yesterday's conceded goals, we have now conceded 11 goals in the 15 minute period after half time. That is 7 more than in any other period of the game and has significantly increased our goals against column.
