some fantastic goals there but lets be honest there is only one winner :) UTB

We've scored some absolute beauties, haven't we? What a first season back at this level. For me, I'd also throw Fleck's free kick into the mix.

I'm struggling to choose:
  1. Duffy for sentiment
  2. Evans for technique
  3. Billy for the "have that!" moment

I would agree with this. I'd also point out that the technique for Freeman's was good as well as he had to watch it come down from quite a height (similar to Evans)

It's got to be Evans v Boro.

Couple that aren't included (personally Freeman's wouldn't have made my top 5, but that's probably a testament to how good some of our goals have been this year):

Duffy's long-ranger v Reading (A)

Brooks' goal v Burton (H) - quality touches by Sharp, Duffy and the scorer himself, back to front in about five seconds

Evans' second v Boro (H) was also fantastic, brilliant set-up by Brooks and another difficult finish

Remember kids, short corners never work...

Duffy goal is my goal of the century, never mind season. I can't remember when a more exciting, euphoric goal was scored by a Blade.

Clarke's first two goals against Hull at home encapsulated our attacking pass-and-move style of play at that point in the season. Two brilliant team goals, worth a mention.

Duffy has to be the winner as an amazing solo effort and an instantly legendary moment in club history.

Technically Lee Evans' goal against Middlesbrough was magnificent, although for sheer emotion & excitement it has to be Duffy's against pigs.
