Go for it or play for a point on Saturday?

Sadly you're so wrong.
And why on earth would you want to lose 4 0 not 2 0.
Have you forgotten what happened last time we were in this division?

While I get your point (relegation via GD), we didn't suffer too many hammerings last time around. 4-0 at Anfield, 3-0 against Arsenal and Villa. I've probably forgotten a couple but we didn't get beaten out of sight much.

The problem was dropping points to mediocre teams - West Ham and Charlton away, Portsmouth, Everton and that fucking Blackburn game at home.

Last weekend's fixtures showed only Liverpool and Aston Villa City won at home.
It is an indication that teams are feeling the pressure of expectation when playing at home.
I am sure CWAK will be factoring this into their plans.

Plenty of Blades you have spoken to will never make football managers. They have also got terrible memories by the sound of it?

Wilder has never gone into a game with the intention to try and cancel the other team out. He always plays to win. This will be no different.

What I hope will be different is the mental state of some of our players. I’m pleased with our start, but, we have a few jelly babies in the team who are still quivering at the realisation they are now competing at the highest level of the game.

They are a tad too nervous at times. They are getting rid of the ball like it is a hot potato or taking the easiest safest option with it. This needs to stop and stop now.

We need to get back that little bit of swagger, not arrogance, but swagger. We need to calm down and carry on with the type of football that got us here in the first place. We are here on merit. Show everyone why!

Time to tek bloody handbrake off and mek em av it!
Win lose or draw Saturday I hope the nerves are down and performance level is up individually and collectively from Leicester. We looked more nervous in our third game than our first or second despite the good results.
We need to be sensible but need to make sure we don't lose the identity of the way we play and approach games.
And surely Wilder will spare us from the pathetic white flag approach of Warnock last time round.

I'd like to see us get the 1st goal.....in the 93rd minute

I think we've shown we can nullify some of the better attacking teams in the PL so far--we've given up hardly any really big chances and only lost to Leicester because of a really sloppy mistake and a wondergoal. I want us to build on that now and play some more of the attack-minded passing football that got us here in the first place.

I don't want us to develop an inferiority complex where we act like our backs are always to the wall and we come away from big games as plucky losers. I hope and believe that this is what Wilder was trying to nip in the bud when he tore a strip off the players after Leicester.

Don’t shoot don’t score. Let’s have a crack, we might get something, we might not.

As a football fan I can’t bring myself to go to any match, any where and hope for a point. This was my biggest fear of the prem. We play to win UTB

Can't we just approach it like the Bournemouth game? Worked there

Think it's going to depend who plays up front
If mcburnie starts I can't see Robinson or sharp starting ,will didsy get a deep role or Freeman be expected to join the attacks ?

I think a few of the lads have looked like they are still finding their feet and needed the shake up they got from wilder last week

We need to be more positive and assertive in the final third than we have been ,far too many times we've wasted good positions and the only time we've looked like we normally can in possession was after rmcburnie and sharp came on against Bournemouth and we really looked confident it was also incidentally norwoods best spell for us and I'm looking for him to be more confident in that deep role and less sloppy in possession

Remain organised and committed.
Take care of the ball in possession and make the most of our chances.
Be stupid to go balls out, Lampard is getting a little bit of stick from their deluded and self important fan base, so could be better keeping it very tight, take no risks and see where we are with 20 to go.
If we are drawing then maybe open up and see if we can get a win.
If we’re winning at any point then we be professional, keep it tight and make ourselves very hard to break down, but keep some pacey options up top to see if we can exploit them on the break.

Play like we did most of last season, balls out, if we're guna lose, do it fighting for the win, and atleast give them summat to worry about.

Go for it. There not unbeatable.
What’s the point in playing for a 0-0 and getting beat 1-0.

You should always aim for 3 points regardless of the opponent. It's that's simple to me.
