I had wondered how people seemed to ignore Brayford's role in that, but I would rather not criticise anyone from that performance. Everyone gave it their all, and that is all I will ever ask for from anyone that puts on a Blades shirt.

I agree with S1 Blade,I thought Man U were there for the taking and we could have been more positive with substitutions mid way through the second half-Ie to inject some pace going forward.It was stick or twist,but clearly Adkins had decided he was playing for the replay by that point,most likely for financial reasons.

That type of game is made for Flynn.
Good sub that one and he played well.

Seriously? This team? Promoted?

Man Utd create nothing but, bar Spurs, have the best defence in the Premier League. What would a winger with no end product and a novice pro with 'potential' do to change that?

We've been unlucky tonight and they put a shift in. Play like that every away league game and we'd never lose. It'd be fucking dull, but we'd never lose.

Adkins is getting the best out of a bunch of, up to the last 4 or 5 games, wasters. Nobody could get this team promoted. Adkins is stuck with deadwood, can't bring in because the board/Brannigan/Clough brought in too many. He absolutely is the best we can hope for. He will choose when he leaves United - not the other way round.
