Could we all try and be happy clappers for one game only, see if it works.
As we speak I am working on a chant along the lines of "Its just like watching Bolivia"

That`s a start! As we speak I am working on a chant along the lines of "Its just like watching Bolivia"![]()
As long as you are smiling, and singing it with gusto, the players won`t know the difference.
Hmmm, be tricky getting anyone to join in with that one.I'm struggling on getting a version together where the Americans don't interfere in the internal goings-on, the revolution is successful and Che doesn't die.![]()
As always the accusation of lazy and workshy is lazy and workshy.
Dominated at Rochdale.
Burton beat us with their 21st 1-0 win of the season. They made us look poor.
First half at Fleetwood dominated that too. Not seen second half yet.
Edgar and Bash need to play together - consistency of team selection and maybe we'll tighten up. That's where their goals came from.
If we're going to persist in thus accusation of workshy who is workshy?
The problem is finishing. Has been all season.

Not happy clappers as such but I take your point. I'm not happy where we are or how it's being run.
I do however think we might as well have a good time, sing and make the atmosphere a factor in the result again.
As per my OP, the very least it would it give them no more whinging excuses about how difficult it is to play in front of us.
It's not difficult unless that you're a spineless set of fucktards who can't see what an opportunity they have.
They could be the hero's that get us up through the divisions rather than the feckless workshy bastards that we currently suffer.

Is the word dominant a new word for slightly on top
Plus defending and keeping a clean sheet . Has been all season .
Putting it in one end , keeping them out of the other , someone says on a regular basis.
UTB
Disagree.
Early season we were looking to outscore the opposition, we created plenty of chances (often due to the work of Sammon ;-)) but didn't take nearly enough of them.
(We also had a run of bad luck.)
It was even a problem pre-season where the interviews after the match mentioned this more than once.
The most obvious example was the game when Billy missed three 1v1s (Bury?), but it was fairly consistent over several games.
Not blaming him btw.
We were at it again at Rochdale, and Che missed from inside the six yard box, and he had another couple of decent chances first half at Fleetwood.
Don't know what the answer is.
Thanks for that Sean, always thought it was, "ee quid, mach day progrun, ee quid"The "match programme three quid, get yer programme, three quid" man annoys me as well!

Of for goodness sake, when did the c word suddenly become socially acceptable??? So many posts with it now.
Disgusted of Lodge Moor.
Use of the word as a term of abuse is relatively recent, dating from the late nineteenth century. The word appears to have not been strongly taboo in the Middle Ages, but became taboo towards the end of the eighteenth century.

Thought there may have been an images section on there - but, sadly, not
