He was an excellent idiot, a yellow card for waving an imaginary one is absolute stupidity.

He nearly did this in a recent home game - when he was already on a yellow. He started the card-wagging and immediately realised and put his hands behind his back then hurried away.

I actually feel a bit sorry for him with this, because I think he probably is just expressive with his hands when he’s talking (cue comments on his pointing), but he’ll be in big bother if he does it again when he’s already been booked.

I don’t need CW to tell me what I could see myself.
Individually they were better and quicker than most of our players.
I don’t think they are world beaters, but from what I have seen in this league both live and on the tv they are significantly better than the rest, albeit that I haven’t yet seen Burnley play this season.
