Get Wilder gone and stop the delusion.

My stance at the time was that moving Wilder on was the correct decision, just the incorrect appointment.

Once the rot has set in however, there was only one sensible option at the time and we took it.
wilder is the only option. im the same i thought wilder leaving was the correct decision. He’s earned the right to a proper season, not just a rescue job. just on that 15 game spell between Hillsborough & Middlesbrough. we showed how entertaining we can be

he still feels temporary because we know that we have to replace him at sometime

It’s such a narrow minded view that Wilder is the only manager who could have turned things around and got us out of the relegation zone with this squad.
I don't doubt there's managers out there that could have done it, probably a few who would've got us up. Call Wilder a band-aid solution. Mate, he has come in and steadied a fast sinking ship.

Yeah, it's a bit shit that it's looking like we won't make the playoffs. But when I get in a bit of a huff when we have thrown away points I just remind myself of how I felt 5 games in.

I would have taken our position now no question.

Not above League One he hasn’t. The only experience he has at upper championship level is us and a small stint at Boro where he left them near relegation.
He hasn't above League Two either, but now we're moving the goalposts aren't we. He's had plenty of success away from Sheffield United.

Yes I can see how winning the Northern Counties (East) League Premier Division with Alfreton Town would put you in good stead preparing for the premier league.

Wilder is a mardy arse when we lose - just like us fans - difference is we don’t pick the team, he does- never his fault

People often mention that certain managers and players have only "done it" at one club to imply it was a fluke. Some managers get dropped into the perfect environment in their first job and have success set up for them, before going on to fail everywhere else.

Maybe I'm being pernickety, but given the thread we are in, and the swathes of posters desperate to paint Wilder as the antichrist, I felt it was necessary to correct what you said.
