Yet again we’ve had to watch an opposition manager make changes at half time and completely change the game while Wilder and co do, well, god knows what?

We need to thank him for getting us out of the relegation zone and send him on his way with the happy memories of his first spell as manager.

It’s time to move on and take time to reassure all aspects of the club and see how we can take a more modern approach and hopefully build for the future.

And can we please move on from the delusional view that we can still make the playoffs, it’s embarrassing and has been for weeks.

Pigs are about a bit quickly.

Agreed. We actually looked like scoring and being entertaining for a few games but gone back to same old. Weak minded, turgid sideways football. No clever recruitment just signing his pals and ex Leeds players wanting a final payday. Whole club needs reorganising. Starting with a DoF. Guarantee this won’t happen.

It’s possession based football don’t you know. Except we don’t keep possession.

The amoumt of practice we gave them on corners was staggering..

They were bound to get one as the confidence that we would eventually make an error, or they would get one right was predictable..

We are shocking at the back, thats the main problem, no bolllocks and shit defenders..

11 corners before they converted one..

We made thay easy and went 1 up front as well, just shouting at them to go at us for the last 20 because we were not going to threaten them..

Who could we have brought on that would have improved the team tonight? Just look at that bench.

Didn't help that Peck, Jairo, Brooks, Campbell, Seriki and Peck were totally cooked. I'd have left Jairo and Peck on regardless and subbed all the other off just to get a bit of energy out there with no faith in any of the players coming on. A bit unlucky that we had no Bamford (for Campbell). or Phillips for any midfielder.

We really need to rest all the youngsters before we break them

This sums up the intelligence of the Wilder fanboys doesn’t it? Unable to make a valid argument about why we should keep him so resort to childish name calling. Embarrassing.

It doesn’t really matter who’s on the bench when the manager isn’t able to make tactical changes to counteract the changes made by the opposition. We’ve seen time and time again, you could even say it was an issue in Wilders first spell in charge, when plan A doesn’t work we don’t seem to have a Plan B or C.

The options aren’t great

Keep Wilder.. finish 10th-15th the next couple of years….

Get rid of Wilder probably be relegated whilst the fanbase splits about bringing Wilder back again.
Do you genuinely believe Wilder is the only manager who could get us a 10th-15th place finish in the Championship?

Nah mate. We’re going up.

ive said on here many times that i was a big wilder fan when he came here 10 years ago but hes a shadow of that manager now its no coincidence he failed at boro and watford know the selles appointment was a disaster but we really need a younger more progressive manager with modern ideas to come in now wilder and knill can only take us in one direction im afraid

I'd only want him gone if I could think of any manager I'd want to replace him.

All of the ones I'd likely want are already in a job. We also need to get the setup at the club right to allow someone new to thrive.

With our parochial fan base jumping on the back of every Manager … probably yes..
That’s a fair point, we saw it with Selles when the doubt and criticism started even before he’d managed a game.

As I’ve said before, Selles wasn’t the answer for the future but then I don’t believe Wilder is either. We can only hope that those in charge have learnt from the Selles appointment and make a better choice next time.

This is a big part of the problem. We need to bring in someone above first team manager level who can develop and implement a plan for the long term.

Exactly, so until things are in place Wilder is still a steady pair of hands.

Although more of the boring football next season will likely see him gone.

To be fair to Wilder he didn't have any decent strikers with Bamford out. If we are serious about next season we need to get rid of Cannon and Campbell. We need to sign 2 good strikers and will also hopefully have Bamford and One.

Don't hold your breath. He's already mugged the owners off and got his mate Bettis to protect him.

How is it other teams can still get 90 minutes out of their players? Ours are cooked?? Peck twice it seems!!
Has to be a poor coaching and fitness set up.
We will be lucky to get to 60 points. Whilst we see Oxford and Charlton fighting for their lives, whereas we are tired out and looking as if we have given in.

"Wilder" spent fuck knows how much on Cannon. You cannot give Wilder a pass on us having no strikers when he spent the world on someone you think is shit

Would be nice if we could actually try a proper interviewing process for the next manager to assess who we could attract.
Don't think we have done one since Wilder first got the job 10 years ago?

Remind me who signed Cannon and Campbell
