Get Rid of COH

We need at least SIX Players, a mix of top end champ players and excellent quality prem loans, to stand ANY chance of challenging top2.

Why oh why oh why do people keep saying we need to bring players in that, if we get what we want for "challenging top 2", we will need to replace anyway?

There are no guarantees in football. but most of the Big teams when I first started watching football are still knocking about and are either favourite top six, or the number one spot.
Usually their from either London, Manchester or Liverpool of course.
Now and again the odd outsider pop's up, but it soon reverts back to the top three City's again.
Any one who think we are going to break into that lot over night or without first spending a lot of cash on building the foundations for a very good Academy is living in cloud coocoo land...

I just wonder if the mood of this board will have changed in 3-4 weeks time if/when we have no wins in 5 league matches and the players look just as disinterested as they did at Swansea.

We might get a draw on Saturday (imo) but we look like fodder for the likes of Boro and Ipswich even though neither yet look like really good teams.

I'm going to (light-heartedly) predict that we don't get what we need in this transfer window and Selles will be sacked on the alter of the owner's ignorance before October.

Hope I'm wrong but I have that feeling in my groin!

Barrel & scraping! Is looking like the order of the day, with the so called "new owners"

............................
Context - We’ve lost TWO games. Two. We are going to lose more throughout the season. Promotions aren’t won or lost after two games.
............................

Context - we have lost 100% of our league games and 100% of our cup games (see numbers can be displayed in a way to suit the narrative)

I'm not a a bedwetter or a happy clapper, nether will I judge until the wildow closes, but anybody who isn't concerned has issues.

Let’s get Sean Bean to post a video pleading for Prince William to help sort it out 🙄

COH are not doing a very good job at present. There appears to be no real plan on transfers and a distinct reluctance to spend money, my guess is following the Cannon transfer back in Jan.

However, it is very much in their own interest to get it right otherwise they just lose their investment or more. They need to get proper football people into the club and not rely on people who have no idea on running a football club sat on the board making decisions.
How long it takes them to realise this is anyone’s guess. I know Bettis doesn’t have the best of reputations with some on here, but he probably has more idea than any of the rest of the board put together, he must be pulling his hair out because my guess he’s being out voted on decisions at the moment.

To understand our club is complicated, but it’s largely a combination of inferiority complex, need for a comfort blanket, chronic pessimism and chips on shoulders.

As clubs go, it's very working class too.

You should love it, given your icon.

Derek French suggesting they might be getting rid of the Academy on FB.

Seemingly no source or evidence other than some staff leaving.

I think you could be right about the fun aspect, I've no doubt alot of the foreign owners buy clubs just to sit round the dinner table with their pals to brag about having a good old English football club, with little or no idea about football or commitment to take the club forward.
Which is fine by me if the side effect is a stronger team, playing decent football. They can get on with it. However, it has to be in conjunction with actually creating a balanced match day squad. They may make millions in profit, which covers the running costs, but it won’t work if, for instance, they decide to buy 10 cheap midfielders because they have the best chance of being sold on, and we end up being relegated because we have no defence!

Usual negative troll with another negative post. Don’t know why he bothers getting out of bed.

Blade? My arris.

Oh dear, didn't we have all this from the usual suspects when the Prince was at the helm? Even worse, the Prince was a fucking rock star and without him we'd have been well in the shit. Anyhow, I digress. I agree that this lot have me worried but seriously, how do you propose stopping 'shit owners destroy our club'? Don't you think half the fan bases in the country would like a change in ownership but it just doesn't work like that.

As to selling us well again, this lot must have made the most attractive offer after we'd been on the market for ages, maybe the only offer so who do you think will buy us? There's nobody out there, we're an average, medium sized club with some recent success but a history of mediocrity. Part of me likes the us against the world mentality but performances like today have me sick and fucking tired of it all.
