Amazed to see how many have turned against CW after all he did for the club. He hasn't spoken publicly since his departure but HRH has. Many are happy to jump to the conclusion that he 'bottled it' after hearing just one side of the story.
It's sickening. They'll be doing same to new manager in about 6 months. Or carry on blaming wilder.

Awful humans

It''s pointless arguing though, as many have already made their mind up..

I started watchIng the Blades in the 70s and I rate Wilder as the best manager in my lifetime. I have no doubt we would have finished in the top 6 at least, with a good chance of top 2, if we'd created the conditions to allow him to stay. But I seem to be in the minority.
I tend to agree but I can’t be arsed constantly arguing about it. He’ll be our last manager from Sheffield, Pearson is right when he says he’d never manage a Sheffield club because he lives there. Imagine going from hero to cunt in the space of a few months.

Well a lot of the backroom staff have already gone, So maybe a lot of the first team players are on their way out too, know it, and that's why their just playing their time out here,
It could also be that the new guy has his own replacement players and back room staff lined up already and is just waiting for the market to open so he can bring them in.
If so,
Why would he want to come in and work with a load of players and backroom people who will not be here next season anyway ? .....

I wonder why billy and knilly have not been seen since wilder chickened out. ?
Sharp played at Leicester.

No mention of Knill for a week or so. I know they said him and the club were in discussions according to Heckingbottom. They said he was still involved with 1st team training but I did not see him on any of the training ground videos last week. Is he on some sort of gardening leave until he is paid up/sorts out his contract/Wilder goes elsewhere?

He is wanting to save money - like the signing of Lingard on loan

In Italy managers are sometimes put on gardening leave and then if a more competent manager can't be found the original manager is brought back

Is head of recruitment Mitchell still there?,not heard that he left, but can't see why he's not been let go.

Who ever gets the job has a major rebuild and needs to clear out the deadwood
I know we are all impatient and want the new guy in or at least confirmed, but the Prince won't be pushed into a knee jerk appointment he's a business man and will be doing all the due diligence and a lot of the interview process will be what the candidate's know about the club and players ,and they will need to have presentations to put before the board on their plan's for the first team (remember bielsa watching 2 years of Leeds games before his interview) and also the candidate's will want guarantees about what funding they will get and the future of things like the new training complex
We need to keep the main core of players
