What's happened to him?

He was meant to be a real prospect when Long first came through, Willis wasn't meant to be far behind. George the younger and the elder they were referred to. He seems to have disappeared from the face of the earth.

I know he isn't the biggest but had redeeming qualities such as his shot stopping and command of the area. So what's happened? Has Ramsdale gazumped him and put him in the U21's again? Has he been released? Has he been transferred? There's just no mention...

He was at Matlock last season on loan, i guess he'll be doing similar this season. Reckon its between him and Ramsdale, but he's had 1st team experience at Matlock

Clubs don't usually make a statement about youngsters leaving the club.
 
Clearly behind Ramsdale in the pecking order. Possibly even behind Eastwood after that too.

Don't think there's much hope for him at the club now unfortunately.

Oh that's clear to see but is it that he's just gone backwards or Ramsdale is that good at an early age? I hear a lot of good things about Ramsdale but I haven't seen him yet.

Willis might just be progressing as a keeper normally does I mean lets not forget he's only 20. But nowadays keepers seem to start younger than they used to, and he should probably be getting better exposure than Matlock now.

He did yes.

Looked destined to be a quality keeper and having seen plenty of him I thought for some time he was the best on our books (continued development permitting).

Pity he's not pushed on and been closer to the first team, but Rammers is the new young 'un to keep an eye on.

Ive seen George play and he is a top keeper. He has a great spring in his jumps. In this world of oversized goalies george lacks height at around 6ft! Should someone take a gamble on him he would make a league 1 or a championship club goalie. Plays at Gainsborough now i believe. George keep plugging away itle come!
 
George got released in the summer, but for anyone who ain't seen Ramsdale play he will be the best keeper at the lane since Alan Kelly if we can keep hold of him
