Several reports in Romania say that during the country’s broadcast of the match, it was claimed Puscas has had his first offer from the Premier League… coming from Sheffield United.

Sport.ro back that up, although there’s no claim of how much the offer was or what the 23 year old’s current club, Palermo, have to say about the potential transfer.

There’s some excitement that the youngster could be moving to England’s top flight.

Romania face Germany on Thursday in their semi-final of the U21 Euro Championship.

George Puscas was one of the best performers for Romania’s U21 side as they beat England on Friday June 21st.

Dean Henderson, who spent least season on loan with Sheffield United and is expected to return, didn’t have his best game as England lost 4-2 and were knocked out of the tournament.

Puscas scored the vital first goal, a penalty, and had an all-round very good performance as a striker.

It would be no surprise if several of the Romania team have won themselves new fans, with Ianis Hagi also having a great game.

EXCLUSIVE! First offer for Puscas after FABULOASE matches from EURO U21! What the Premier League team wants him to do

George Puscas may be the first U21 player to be transferred after the final tournament.

"I miss all of it. It's hard to get out of bed," says Puscas. He beat the English and is very close to getting to the Premier League. Puscas and Cicaldau were rebuilt at the pool and battled with water guns.

"I just got out of bed today, and I do not even know where to start, my ankles, my fingers, my knees, my knees," said George Puscas.

Puscas beat the English and received the first Premier League offer from the newly promoted Sheffield United. He first wants to become a European champion.

That makes about as much feckin sense as the legalese in the High Court Hijinx thread.

A lot of players want to play in the Premier League and their agents see newly promoted clubs like us as an easy way in.

That's probably the explanation here.

But I do think we'll probably want 2 centre forwards, he's looked a handful at the U21 Euros and it's not inconceivable that we're scouting there.

Exactly, and the agents have a ready-made audience in journos and newspaper editors who are under pressure to create stories when there's not much football being played. We've already seen a few of these this summer.

I don't get it?
Are you all saying that, actually, Chris Wilder DIDN'T make him an offer during the match against England?

currently with Palermo, within pricerange and wages , not a bad shout and right age. Also played a few full internationals for Rumania. If we are looking abroad this is a better fit

I think that would be great - or one of his team mates - it is about time we had at least one Roumanian in our first-team.
I think we should also be bolstering the team with a couple of South Americans - we all know it makes sense.

Bonkey madness!

He's a full international, not just u21. He was signed by them last august for €3.25 million plus bonuses and I suspect that he'll be leaving Palermo whatever happens, as they are in the financial mire. They should've finished 3rd, but were sent to the bottom of the league by the FA. The only thing is that there will be about 10 italian sides after him now.

In Serie B though which is mid table championship at best

Not gonna lie I don’t mind us being linked with someone like this, he’s looked decent in the U21s so far.

If it’s true we are looking at him then great, I’m sure Wilder will do wonders with someone like him.

I wonder who we have made an offer to? Palermo is in a world of trouble at the moment. No owners, money going missing, a real threat relegation to Serie D...
Who knows, we might get him for free ;-)

Serie A clubs will obviously be first in line for him.

But if he dreams of a move to glorious England Premier League that could put us in the box seat.

Apparently they’ve been relegated to Serie D... looks like he’ll be certainly going somewhere
