It was disappointing, and crap. I didn't expect much so I wasn't very surprised. This is the hangover from Wilder leaving the squad in disarray. I know they're grown men, but last season must have left it's toll in their heads. Players, like fans, expect managers to come up with solutions, and essentially Wilder provided none. To expect SJ to come in and sort it by the first game is pie in the sky.
I think he'll sort it, but it will take time, and a clear out. I cannot believe there are people on here calling for Jokanovic's head, and wanting Wilder back. Wilder had his turn, he ultimately fucked it up and left us (and the new manager) a whole load of shit to sort out.

Very dissapointing to come out of the ground thinking 18 months had passed of all our lives and in the first proper game where i was expecting a fresh approach and a tweak on tactics, it was just garbage as correctly titled. I said before Norwood and Berge cant play in the same team and frankly i would prefer to see Berge sold as he slows everything down and turns around in circles backwards more than my cat. Apart from a couple of powerful runs and a brief glimmer he does not fit my idea of a fast forward footed midfield.

Norwood needs some competition and a couple of new midfield dynamos to challenge him and frankly i would rather see the under 23s midfield than that bunch on saturday night.
Fleck was woeful but so were most of the midfield and defence. What is the point of playing out from the back when Bash isnt playing and nobody possesses the skills or pace to beat a man or spot the gaps to receive the diagonals and triangles. Osborne was so much out of his depth so play Rhys Norrington.

Up front i wouldnt sell loan Jebbison as he is better than Burke and can run for 90 minutes unlike Mouse.

All the team need to practice shooting as considering their so called skills they are crap at it.

I hope Slav has spotted the reason why Blades have not performed now for 2 years at a decent consistant standard and can magic up a couple of new midfielders, cut out some of the past its and utilise one or two of the U 23s who dont usually spend 60% of a game passing sideways or backwards.
