Funny old lark this Forum 'club'.

so you missed the endless
Clarkes shit threads
the Dones no good threads and the most laughable
perhaps Flecks not up to much threads
not to mention several Basham bashing threads
Definitely missed those...

Tried looking on the first couple of pages and can't see anything remotely like 10% of threads slagging out players off, am I looking on the right place as you BTL?

The threads aren't all titled as such, but many soon descend into a slagfest.

Anything about Billy raises issues about his partner and both Done and Clarke seem to get it in fairly equal measure.

The McNulty thread soon descended into what a twat he is and why he is isn't wanted back.

There were plenty of Freeman/Coutts/Lafferty/Fleck 'was gash' comments after the win against Northampton.

You either aren't looking very hard or you need a trip to Specsavers.

fair comment on McNulty I'd have thought

Hardly a sustained campaign then

You either aren't looking very hard or you need a trip to Specsavers.

This is my time. Things are good. I could trawl through so many threads about so many posters who were so quick to moan, moan, moan.

Brownie, like it or not, you are one of them in my mind. Tell me you are not and I will trawl through past posts to disprove that.

Sorry but I post what Ithink. I believe I put you on 'ignore' once.

Is the point being made here "my default position is praise. Now we're doing well I'm right and can prove you were all wrong in your criticisms?"

If so, that sounds a bit like the stopped clock being right twice a day. Surely, it's reasonable for people to call things as they see them be that negative or positive. Let's be reyt, we've massively underachieved for a number of years and are all hoping that this is the year where that ends.

I'm not sure there is a point. Certainly not a coherent one.

I wonder if he'll find the ones praising the Clough dynasty Nige was building with his great mate and trusted colleague Mal Brannigan?

Surely you can remember when he analysed "likes" on BM, in such a way that the only criteria seemed to be that it had to show him as one of the most popular posters! Which of course it did.

Then came "transition" ...... :)

And Simon the Newsagent!

Clough was, if I remember rightly, and I do, "Mr. Sheffield United"

Big fan of Weir as well.

The only thing I've learned from this thread is that woodwardfan is a pretty weird and aggressive drunk.

WWF - I seem to remember you weren't too struck on Cloughie and his sidekick's style of management (bullying I think you called it) so I refuse to accept you as a happy clapper.Sorry and all that :D.

Ps If I recall that incorrectly I apologise - just put it down to old age on my part and re-instate yourself a clapper. :D

Very true but only after he had taken a year or so to mess up. Adkins also in fact.

The generalisation of me being a 'clapper' is often levelled at me on here though.

In actual fact I'm an intelligent, insightful and objective realist who posts exactly what I think at all times;)

He's posting after a few ales again it would seem.

He once "went after" after a night on the sauce.

Red wine actually Pete (14.5%) then I finished off the Xmas port, all watching Bournemouth/Arsenal 6 goal thriller and having fun on here.

Actually got so many 'likes' last night it's worrying that my posts were more appreciated after a few drinks:confused:

Not true that I "went after" another such night by the way. My 'flounce' was decided over a long period and was a lifestyle decision. However I missed the forum, particularly you Pete and before this thread I honestly thought you'd flounced as well, welcome back, it's another bonus from the port and wine. Sean back as well all of a sudden, my glass runneth over;):). He's dredging up his list from the past though; whatever:(.

Adkins didn't get a year and certainly didn't get the chance to "get things as he likes them" as per your signature.

I know and didn't mean it to read that way. Adkins was always going to get longer but I suspect the dressing room and the Hammond debacle led to the Board losing faith as indeed most of us had by then.

Who could ever forget the obsession with Weir and "transition".
Everyone else saw transition to translate "If we don't get rid of this utter fuck up pronto we'll be non-league in 2 years".

Me "back"? I haven't been anywhere.

You probably just had me on the ignore list again and took me off it halfway down the Claret by mistake.

No I'm off to London straight after the Wimbledon game. Otherwise I would have hunted out my "lifetime pass" which my ex bitch wife and I both had, courtesy of working with the then Mrs Kevan Johnson and the witch (spits on floor) thinking of the name for the company that ran the limit, and tried to use that. Demanded in fact.

I'll have a Holsten for you.
Hoping to see a number of old faces both fellow ex- staff and punters.
Maybe a few foxy chicks who've aged well and fancy renewing aquintanceships.
Probably just feel tired by midnight, not be able to hack the volume, realise I'm getting old and go home alone.:(:tumbleweed:

That is "back" commenting on my posts. Good to read about the Good Old days on BM but do you really think anybody else is interested?

Happy New Year Sean. What was your pseudonym on BM by the way?;) Can't recall Sean Thornton. Don't be shy.

Got a couple of likes which in your book is tantamount to forum sainthood Woody.

Thanks and Hapoy New Year to you and yours.

Shall I tell him H?;)

Will guarantee a forum tantrum from the ol' goat tending his resignation from here [again] by Dec 31 2016.

Then a spell away and a return without any fanfare [again].

My grand-daughter of four [4] shows very similar behaviour on a weekly basis.

45 'likes' overnight and today. Cheers!!

But I know I can't beat being picked out as the True Blade in a queue to shake hands with KM:rolleyes:

And the name on BM?
