Not sure on the shortest but I would think the tallest would have to be Mihkel Aksalu at about 6”6 or so.
Think Dellas was 6”5 followed by Flo at 6”4. After that, I think Deano might be next.

The ever reliable Google says that Aksalu was 6'4" (1.94m)

Quick searching provides the following Blades over 1.9m:

1. Dellas 1.96m/6'5"
2= Aksalu 1.94m/6'4"
2= Long 1.94m/6'4"
4 Flo 1.92m/6'3"
5= Deane 1.91m/6'3"
5= Ikeme 1.91m/6'3"
7 Jan-Aage Fjortoft 1.90m/6'2"

Burn would be the first player to break the 2m barrier for us, I think.

Fair enoigh Balham. I thought I read when we signed Aksalu that he was 6"6 but David Edgar's height changes between 6"4 and 6"2 every day so who knows how accurate the reports are. I've also seen Flo reported at 6"4 and Long at 6"3. I suspect most are rounded when in between and Flo is something like 6"3 and a half. The only way to be sure is to get them all to stand against the wall and draw lines at the top of their heads.

I'm 6'4" so less of the freakish. Anyway, reminds me of one of the funny events at the Lane. Chelea were in town, very muddy pitch and wet in other words like it was for most of the season. Challenge goes in, howl of pain and the upshot is the Droy has broken his leg. From the corner of the Kop comes that collection of odd-balls known as St John's ambulance with a canvas stretcher. After taking ages it beomes obvious that this stretcher isn't big enought to accommodate Droy, but they haven't got another one. After much fussing they get him on this thing, with a bloke holding his legs to prevent them dangling over the end (not good with a broken leg). As if this isn't enough of a panto, they managed to slip and slide and drop him off off the stretcher as they leave the pitch. You could here the Droy expletives all the way back on the kop! :)

I recall Jim (not John) Gannon being very tall, but I'm not sure whether he ever played for the first team.

EDIT: Scratch that. Wiki (though unreliable) says that he was 6'2" and didn't play for the first team anyway.
