Football is the biggest game in town. But as the most watched and wealthiest sports competition in the world, the Premier League also generates a lot of plastic waste.

Whether it’s water bottles or coffee cups, tea stirrers or pint glasses, single-use plastic is tough to avoid at the big games.

And when the crowds head home after the final whistle blows, they leave behind tens of thousands of pint cups, bottles, food trays and other plastic waste.

If enough of us take action, we can show the big football teams that we don't want single-use plastic to be part of match day.
