I am as mad as anyone after that performance , Thought Wilder was correct and honest in his summary of the match , but after thinking about the resent games perhaps we have played to much football , we were well off it tonight and that's the only reason I can come up with , I know they earn a lot of cash and they have got a brill life style , but when you knackered , your knackered !!

WHAT WORRIES ME IS THAT THE NEXT 4 ARE, SAT , TUESDAY MATCHES :(

Hull played same amount of games and on same schedule. Quite a lot of United's players did not play last Friday. Fleck not played for 2 weeks. If players cannot handle the schedule they are not fit/good enough.

Everyone knew the schedule. Everyone knew that we were up against tougher teams. Personally don't think we have the squad to ride through a never ending fixture list without missing the odd injured player. The past couple of months is to be expected really. Great first 4 months kinda glossed over reality. Still think we will finish top 10 though. Great really.

They were relaxing at Forest Pines before the game, here's me naively thinking they'd make the 70 mile trip from Sheffield this afternoon?

I was at the ticket office yesterday, saw the coach leave the Lane about 11.30.

They were there from about 13.30 apparently, relaxing, taking things easy and having a meal before leaving about half six for the KC Stadium, where things continued on a similar theme for a further ninety minutes

Adkins made 5 changes rested more players and they looked fresher so you could argue we didnt change enough
But the main thing in the last 14 games is the pressure is on , only villa and fulham
won out of the top 9 today
so its not just us feeling it
