It's just a suggestion LJ. I'm not his agent, just saying he could be worth taking a look at in training. I think we now need two midfielders with Berge out injured and Fleck and Norwood so off form and Lunny not committed to staying. Within our budget and with little commitment needed from us, it could be a decent option, but I totally take your point that he's not done much of late.
 
Besic the standout there. Plenty of decent champ squad fillers floating around as well. Another notable name being Jerome Sinclair perhaps listening to his agent and staying sat at the station wasn’t in his best interests after all.
 
I mean probably to expensive wages wise but I honestly think bolasie would be a brilliant addition to the squad. Yes I know he has been injured constantly the last couple of season BUT if we could get him back firing for the right wages honestly think he would rip the championship apart.
 
Josh Lundstram - released by Crewe - just because I’m gonna miss seeing that name on the team sheet.

Everton have just released Josh King.... wages would be high for Championship but obvs we'd be saving on a transfer fee, and he could surely do a job in this league.
 
One or two decent shouts but not too many ! A hell of a lot of shit around that was still getting paid decent money throughout the pandemic ! I too reckon Hernandez is worth a punt !

Have Crystal Palace released everybody? Their list includes Conor Wickham so expect the Wednesday fans to be drooling over the thought of him "tearing up League 1" whilst simultaneously ignoring the fact that he won't play for minimum wage or on a voluntary basis.

Who interests me from that list? A few squad fillers, e.g. I'd have no issue with Blackman back to backup Ramsdale. The standout ones for me include Mo Besic, Josh King (if his wage demands are sensible), Pablo Hernandez (short term, if fit), maybe Christian Atsu. Nobody jumps out at me as somebody we MUST be after though. If I could pick one, it'd be Besic as I think he's a low-risk and sensible addition.

Read that Josh king is looking for £100k a week. Even without a transfer fee that some hefty bags
 
Emiliano Marcondes has just been released by Brentford, which really surprised me. He's a 26 year old attacking minded midfielder, who's been a part of a very good Brentford side for a few years now. Given that Brentford don't pay huge wages and the desperate need midfielders, particularly attacking ones this seems an obvious shout to me.

He scored in the play off final for them didn’t he? Seems odd he’s been released after playing so much for them last year, don’t know much about him otherwise

I’d hazard a guess he’d be an upgrade on lunny though - they were a decent side last year after all.
 
Not sure he'd fit in here. Kind of along the lines of how we used Brooks. No.10 but less of an advanced midfielder, more of a withdrawn striker. Would suit Fulham.

Certainly talented but as others have said pretty unorthodox in style if we had a role in mind for him he’d be a great pick up on a free imo

He did indeed score. Hardly been a mainstay of the team this season, think he only started about 12 games, but considering how good Brentford have been attackingly, no shame in that.

As has been mentioned, does he fit? Who knows, we've no idea what we'll shape up next season. Has played as an inverted left winger, centre forward and as an attacking mid. Could he suit him and McGoldrick playing behind one central striker?
