It’s perfectly understandable… the corruption and money madness in modern football makes it very hard to still love the game.I’m glad you’re both content. I myself have lost the love for it.
Robinson would make sense, whether people like it or notHis wages can’t be that big. There isn’t going to be a clamour to sign someone with his record.
Call me cynical but I’d rather someone with slightly less overall capability but who will be available. If he’s coming in as back up there’s no point in him being there and injured. This is where a loan form Robbo starts to make a bit of sense. A shiver runs down my spine typing that last part. But things change. As 4th pick you know exactly what he can bring. Him in and Zatterstrom on loan and playing games makes sense.
I’m open to Webster but he needs to not be greedy and have the mother of all medicals.
Agreed … the more players that Wilder has this season who know exactly what he wants from them the better. Robbo is a fighter and we’re going to need that.Robinson would make sense, whether people like it or not
I'd sign him regardless now
If you're in a possible battle to stay up do you want him in your squad or not - ask yourself that
He also tried to fight his own team when things weren't going wellAgreed … the more players that Wilder has this season who know exactly what he wants from them the better. Robbo is a fighter and we’re going to need that.
Agreed. When things aren’t going his way, the dummy comes out and he chooses violence. Not great for squad harmony. He also tried to fight his own team when things weren't going well
Yep true .. but we all get a bit crazy around Dem BladesHe also tried to fight his own team when things weren't going well
Think McGuinness deserves his chance to be fair.If Webster comes in (and there are no departures in the defensive positions) I think we'll have to go with what we have in that department. Until January and then see where we are.
All the other loans need to be used on creative players.
I'm definitely in the give McGuiness more time camp. Especially considering he's our player and has a further three years of his contract to run. He's a decent defender if we use him to his strengths and allow Tanganga to be the more athletic/covering runners in behind him. We'd have the same issue with Souttar too but our fans don't mention that.Think McGuinness deserves his chance to be fair.
He came in last season on deadline day and was thrown in by Selles against Ipswich. He's had a full preseason with us and i think he deserves his shot, he's played excellently in the first two games

spot on no no and f**k noOne of the greatest days in recent history was the day that Robinson left the cluib.
Birmingham fans DESPISE him.
And yet some of our fans want him back.
Jesus christ.
Stipe Biuk a free agent, 23 years old and a left winger, potential high reward scenario if he performs, 6 foot tall too. Seems around what were looking at
Agreed, was a strong rumour around the play offs that Wilder would have played Holding over Robinson but knew that Robinson would disrupt training and boot balls everywhere if he wasn't playingOne of the greatest days in recent history was the day that Robinson left the cluib.

When the frees are 32, 29, 28 and 28 the wages will be massive, and those names all add nothing but depth. That's bad general strategy and will leave us in a worse place than what a club that knows what they are doing will be when their contracts are done. Also, while Bindon did fine, not a fan of using loan spots on defenders, should be used on creative positions to get players we would not normally be able to obtain for a small percentage of what they would cost on a perm. Frankly we are not in a promotion window and were not even before this week's shenanigans, so if we are not bringing in much younger players who can rise in both value and quality, we should not be bringing in players at all.Signings we should make loans and frees
Solly march or Ryan Kent left wing free
Fábio Carvalho on loan from Brentford to replace hamer
Axel tuanzebe free
Tyler Bindon Loan
Adebayo Free
I think part of the issue for McGuiness is that Wilder like to press teams in and play a high line, which leaves an entire half of the pitch behind the defence and McGuiness isn't the fastest. We're often so vulnerable to teams on the counter because of the press in my view. However with Cooper in goal back to his best and McCullam back in and no Hamer I think we look more solid overall.McGuinness has impressed me in the first 2 games.
When you factor in that he knew a few weeks ago that he wasn't in the managers long term plans at that time, he has put the shirt on and played very, very well - fair play to him.
The clubs short term plans have clearly been impacted transfer wise, so I'd go with him.
He's got limitations, clearly, but so have we as a club at this moment in time.
Back him, he's our player and there are plenty worse out there.
I'd still bring another in on loan, absolutely. Whether that's Robinson or a young premier league kid from one of the top 10.
Our more pressing issue's are on both wings - we haven't got a single left winger in the squad, and on the right Donovan needs time to grow into the division and its demands (reminds me massively of McAtee when he first joined), and Chong is next to useless and can't stay fit.
He’s already signed for a club in Poland. We can do the diagonal balls to him too like we used to do to Cresswell when he was on the wing.
I'll take that now fella. Mid table that is. And that's coming from someone who every season predicted play offs minimum in this league.Adebayo
Carvalho
And good old rabbie matondo
What's up with that. Nailed on mid table![]()
I think there is a a difference between wanting him back when you have multiple options and can pay fees compared to acknowledging we are shopping in a specific pool and he’s part of that pool and compared to others there may be a scenario when he isn’t the worst option. One of the greatest days in recent history was the day that Robinson left the cluib.
