When we went yesterday, lass in ticket office said Blades had sold about 20,000, and Middlesborough had sold all theirs - damn good atmosphere expected!

me and the one went for qpr and plymouth tickets this morning, still a big que of people getting borough tickets.

Before the free tickets were announced (at a complete surprise to the rest of the club, including the ticket office), the Blades weren't expecting to "sell" that many tickets.

Why cut your nose off to spite your face in terms of refusing Middlesbrough extra tickets that there were no guarantees the Blades could've shifted? Especially when gate receipts are shared in the cup.

Aye OK, but what about when SUFC say they want BDTBL to be a 'fortress', McCabe seems to have woken up at last got his eye back 'on the ball' don't take a genius to come up with this latest ticket offer the marketing people at BDTBL should have it sussed. Give the visiting teams minimum amount, perhaps the Liverpool home match Premiership season was the biggest gaff of all when the cheating red scousers got the whole Bramall Lane end. You never know had SUFC given them lower tier only we might have been still in the Premiership.
