JONATHAN Forte will become Scunthorpe United's second signing of the day this afternoon.
The 20-year-old winger, who can also play up front, is undergoing a medical at Glanford Park.
Manager Nigel Adkins has already completed the capture of Stoke striker Martin Paterson on a two-year contract.
The fee for Forte is not known, though his switch to Glanford Park is NOT part of Billy Sharp's proposed move to Sheffield United.
He has long been a target for Adkins, though the Iron boss was originally put off by the reported £300,000 wanted by the Blades.
Forte spent last season on loan with Doncaster Rovers, making 31 starts and scoring five goals.
His arrival at Scunthorpe will boost the Iron's attacking options further, with Sharp on the verge of completing his return to Bramall Lane.
