the away form shows boro and west brom nowhere near as good as the blades away
had to use 4 as some havent played 6

There’s no doubt we are one of the better teams in the division and a top 6 finish is definitely achievable and this was also the case last season.

If Woodburn, Washington and Leon step it up I would say that it is a very real possibility as we would have like for like changes in every position. But at present if Duff, Sharp or McGildrick got injured, I fear we’d lose momentum. Duffy in particular ! When he got hacked down last night I was sweating big time

Have you got your Xmas decs up already?

You do realise the season runs to May 2019 don't you?
Do you shout " Are we there yet" every 5 mintes on a 12 hour car journey.?

He's just pointing out our good form recently and based off of the teams we have won and the performances we have produced it's looking like it'll be a good season. Its hardly like HMS piss the league over in S6

read the posts
just 35 more to maintain it in

think that says theres a ways to go yet

Only need to average 1 point per game to avoid relegation.

Just saying

I did,I won a night out with free beer
after I said we’d hit top spot before the owls did to a mate from the dark side who proposed a little wager.
It takes all sorts from the powder dry geezers

but instead of losing Coutts , hes coming back

I was under what seems to be a misaprehension that fans were supposed to enjoy good runs
sorry for the slight bit of positivity, and sorry to all its offended

Of course we should all enjoy our recent results but that's not really what you're jumping up and down about is it. You're getting wayyyyyyyyyyy ahead of the timeline and to say avenging the reverse at Boro leaves it wide open is frankly very silly as it ignores the boatloads of points available to all between now and then.

No I'm not don't know where your supposing I am . Not once have I said we are shoe ins for the top 2 . I believe if we improve 10 per cent on last season we will make the play offs . But that's as far as we can hope for . As I said quite clearly there's 35 games left we have to maintain our standards in . If we do we have a good chance of top 6. What is pleasing is the quality of our play just now . Theres a nice air of confidence building amongst the players , which augers well . But again standards have to be maintained to attain anything

Hi Bill , welcome to the forum .

Where have you been all this time ? You really are the ray of sunshine we've all been waiting for .......

I take it by your second paragraph you speak for everyone.
I am revelling in our recent results as much as anyone but I neither subscribe to overreaction when we are in a vein of form nor when we have a few adverse performances and I have never watched my team wearing rose coloured specs. In the event this season ends with promotion rest assured I will be first in line waving my member in celebration on the town hall steps. Until then it will remain firmly under wraps.

Jump leads for two.

.
we seem to have lost the major factor in football ,,, hope
98 per cent of other clubs fans in our position would engulf themselves in thinking , good squad , plaing well creating chances
theres hope we will make the play offs surely

but no , caution has completely surgically removed any enjoyment and hope

yes it might end in utter disappointment.who knows
but thats why you try and enjoy the good runs and dare to dream

when a child you dream of being a footballer , winning things
I suppose with your cautious approach you dreamed of being on the bench,,,, just in case

You'd have thought whoever was cherry picking the sample size would have made it go back 9 matches to capture QPR as well, pity really as then I could have used the old "this shows one defeat from the last nine games, or, to put it another way, two in the last ten"

I've given up getting involved in threads like this. Its almost as if you're committing a crime akin to kiddy fiddling or something by being positive and enthusiastic about our club. I've never in my life come across such a bunch of miserable sods who can only put people down for getting a bit excited. "Getting ahead of yourselves", "leave this kind of talk to the pigs", "ooh watch out for Brentford" and rubbish like this is the best contribution they can make to a discussion. What a fucking shower, can't you get therapy for this kind of outlook on life?
