Forget McAtee

Tommy Doyle will be one of the domestic loans we make happen - I think the other will be an attacking midfielder but I don’t know who. It was probably going to be Jacob Ramsey but I don’t know the extent of the injury he got at the euros, if it’s long term that obviously won’t happen.

Which is an improvement on last seasons options.

£30m for McAtee is sky high.

You could have said that 40m for Gibbs -white was even worse at the time but he had a great second half of the season at Forrest 😞

Well if he isn't to return here and he's to have his chance to press on there, it's a genuine hugely heartfelt GLTTL.

What a player, very stylish.

He is the best example in ages of the cliché 'arrived a boy, left a man'. He grew in presence, contribution, attacking threat, and was a joy to watch and hugely important player for us. That's a long way to come from that Luton debut.

Let's see how many starts he gets.
Let's see how many times he gets on a sub.
I really cannot get the anx with pep not wanting him at another club for a season.
Deffo starter at the lane I would have thought, playing at the very top level.

i think pep will have him on the bench for city this season and play him in cup games

Let’s hope Pep doesn’t forget what we did for McAtee and gives us other young players over other clubs. That said think we would have a better chance of getting more young Citteh players in if we were int Championship

With Mahrez and Silva both leaving, I wouldn't be surprised if McAtee is going to be given a shove up.

Keen huh, I bet we're keen on alot of players until the price is realised and then.....let's look at some of those Championship players again. Or will it be different this time? How much are the new owners willing to waste, I mean spend?

I'd take him back in a heartbeat. And not only for sentimental reasons. He's a proper player even at the highest level when he gets the opportunity.
For 25-30m no thanks, Gus is more effective than him and we'd not get that for him

Hamer will be 28 next month though. McAtee is 22. Safe to say that Hamer is at his peak right now. McAtee will only get better with more experience. Challenge would be to build a more competitive team around him than what we had last year.
