Forest on Friday

How was it in our hands a week ago? Even if we won last week. If Leeds win there last 4 we would still miss out regardless.
How wasn’t it? Are you dense?

If we’d beat Birmingham we went back 2nd with 5 games left each. It didn’t matter what Leeds did.

There are four games left, do we think Leeds will win them all?

12 to play for .... it’s tough but as I once heard in a song “ no one ever said it was gonna be easy”

I expect the players to be let off the lead now, pressure on the other lot..
No. But we won’t.

I thought the conversation was about the Millwall result not the Birmingham one. You're correct in that it's the Birmingham game that we lost the control.

This may be stating the bloody obvious but sometimes after the last few weeks, maybe we need to. The result depends on these things:

Players turn up and play their natural way
We persist with the same structure rather than changing shape before/midway through the match
We go 1-0 up and don't sit back and defend
Fans don't create a nervous atmosphere leading to pressure and mistakes

We get this right, we win, I have no doubt about that!

Neck on the line.
Heart says win
Head says win

We need a reaction after recent weeks and i think we will get it.

Forget Leeds for 90 minutes and focus on what we can do and why we are in this race still!

Correct

Sorry for the sharp quip at the start - I'm on a violent edge this week :)

Let's have a "what's going to happen" day, rather than relying on hindsight and vague "l told you so"afterwards.

Will the team selection be wrong
Will the tactics be wrong
Will Wilder bottle it
Will the players bottle it
Will the fans be shit ( a gimme there)

The manager and players put their heads above the parapet every game. Maybe the fans can, with a bit of detail though , no spineless generalising.

No takers ?

Following our last 2 home games it appears that ticket sales have nose dived, despite the game being on Good Friday which traditionally draws a good attendance.

I can only therefore assume that all the glory hunters that came out of the woodwork for the Bristol City game have something better to do than to watch a losing team.
Don’t suppose you can give me back the €100 I forked out “last month “ for flights for both Forest and Ipswich, but because of sky changing the times I’m unable to attend
Couldn’t make it to Toytown or Bristol as it was close to €200 per game return flights
Us fuckers crawling out of the woodwork ehh
God be the days when I could walk to the Lane or catch the 71 bus
Instead of relying on Ryanair or sky tv

They're in place for every game.

The only difference with Forest is that you can't register a new customer for it as you need to have a massive 50 loyalty points to qualify to buy.
Hurrah I qualify as I’ve more than 50 points
No Bigga Blade than me tho knows

There are always going to be worthy exceptions, and I feel for you.

Surely you're not trying to say that 2,000 fly in from all around the globe and buy their match tickets at the last minute?

No mate I don’t , if I could come over every week I would ( and when I was young free and single I used to )
I understand your frustration at a certain amount of no shows only turning up for the big occasion, but between 5-10 Irish Blades ( almost 20 v pigs ) turn up for most home and some away games
We are a long way down on supporters choices over here
Fucking Yeovil and scunny have supporters groups over here
But we have a loyal hard core following
Sorry if it seems I flew off the handle brother no offense intended

I didn’t know the 71 started in Dublin.

Got a positive vibe about this one and I'm looking forward to it. Long bank holiday weekend and a decent weather forecast, sink some beers, and all our games from now on played in advance of Leeds's, so hoping we can put the pressure on them and Leon to do the business. UTB

Our game last Saturday was in advance of Leeds, didn’t help.

Nope, it was the Bristol City game. We lost, Leeds and Norwich both won. At this stage of the season, we couldn't afford a repeat of that.

Absolutely none taken.

I think people like yourselves deserve a medal for the efforts you make to get to BDTBL.

I don't even have a problem with genuine "part timers" Life gets in the way for all sorts of reasons, I was merely making a comment on how demand seems to fluctuate with success.

UTB

Obviously the early KO is only of an advantage if you actually win it. Like today.

Being surrounded by Leeds fans on the train back just now was priceless, loads of em moaning about how we get to play before them on Monday.

Good vibe Friday :D

To be fair too, Good Friday means naff all for a lot of people, I usually have to choose between which bank holiday I want off, just the one, and a lot of people don't even get that choice.
