Another Blades loan legend may be joining them instead.

Hendo would be mad to agree to that £20mil option. Imagine being stuck at Forest if they have a 2nd season in the Prem like we did. He'd be better going to Newcastle or similar - big risk joining a newly promoted team for a player with international ambitions.

To be fair it didn’t do Rammers any harm joining us if you look at where he is now. He’ll get plenty of opportunities to shine with a newly promoted club and if they end up going down, he’ll more than likely leave.

It's a big risk for a player though. Ramsdale managed to recapture some good form for the second half of the season and luckily for him and us became a desirable target for one of the bigger clubs. Also, remember that Ramsdale joined a team who had just finished 9th in the Prem, not a newly promoted unkown.
I'm sure Henderson would back himself to succeed because that's in his character, but I just thought he would have loftier ambitions and feel he could do better than a team promoted through the play-offs.

Agreed, I definitely thought he could do better than Forest, with the greatest of respect to them. That bout of Covid cost him, I’m sure he was about to get an England call up and was Man U first choice at the time. I like that about Henderson, a lot of players have been happy to sit on big contracts at Old Trafford but he just wants to play. Good on him.

No way that he wouldn't start for them, replaces Zinckernagel. Annoys me how much sense it makes
This.

He'll improve them, knows the manager etc. Ndayie scores and it's us having this discussion.....maybe

No way will forest give him 100k a week in wages. Fair play to him if he takes a paycut

£20mil is about right. Liverpool signed Salah for £36.5mil and Sane for £34mil.

It makes our fees for Brewster and McBurnie seem even worse in comparison.
Though we had our pants removed with these signings, the comparisons aren’t really fair. We tried for similar players (Maupay, Watkins)) who were successful subsequently elsewhere, but the much smaller wages on offer ruled us out.

Salah and the like will earn 5 and ten times more, and distort the actual transfer fees.

I genuinely thought pigs hated them more than we did because of when they played them during the strike and the Forest fans were waving their money at the pig fans.

It could be just that there's more of them hating them.

What's not to loathe here?

Really, really weird that he thinks Leeds and Wednesday don't hate them. He must be a school kid.

They're disliked by anyone's who come across them in the last 20 years which is why the big clubs are happy to have them promoted. To them it's just a new club to play.

Update. Offered a new contract at Wolves but wants guaranteed game time. Rumours prepared to leave. Forest and Southampton in the hunt latter with £20 million bid. But Forest 'desperate' to sign him.

Henderson a far better keeper than Ramsdale. Ramsdale not in same league as Henderson who's been unlucky with the situation at Man U.

A very good keeper no doubt. But I'm not sure how much I agree with the unlucky thing.

He chose the money and the new contract route, and by all accounts was quite ordinary when given a chance.

Puzzled he seems to be choosing forest over Newcastle, the latter being a far better side. But my opinion is influenced a little bit by the fact I think forest and their delusional fans can go fuck themselves.....

Go to Southampton potentially get in England team

or

Go to Forest for a short stint in PL

Same money, same promise of role, same sort of manager, most players should pick Newcastle over us every time.

Southampton I'm not sure about. They look a bit flakey this year.

He isn’t going to forrest.. he has much bigger ambitions

He would have only been a "legend" if he had decided not to suck Man U's cash teet and took a pay cut and stuck with us.
As any Blade would take a 50k a week pay cut to receive a legend status of course we would

Yeah, but give over mate...

As flakey as they might look they're still far better equipped for survival than you lot (as things stand).
They've been up there a long time & have some terrific players who are capable of playing some lovely stuff.

For now, your only on a level with Fulham, Bournemouth & Brentford. Not saying that couldn't change quickly as you're a big club with potential...
