I’m playing the matinee of a punk festival in kelham island. Doors are 1 and we’re on first so I reckon I’ll be watching the match on my phone in the corner of Mondo Studios, wherever that is. I’ve also got an eight and a half month old baby who’s only been out of hospital for two months so probably best not to be away for the whole day in London anyway. I’d like to think we’d be able to enjoy a day at Wembley together one day but maybe I’m taking it for granted after all our appearances there during my lifetime so far.

Away on a big family holiday that was planned when we were still a premier league team! Going to ignore the match, looking at score and just check it at full time, cant bring myself to watch. Also always find that when watching on TV we are never as good as i think we are when at the match, and often find the games boring!! Doesnt feel like im watching my team!

<DaddyDozy> (don’t know how to insert names) contacted me to ask where to watch in Sydney as he’s moving over this week. I will be at home watching over FaceTime with my Dad who is in UK/Cornwall at funeral Satdi morning. So I’m no help.

Recommended he heads to Casino as a safe bet where you usually find 5-15 fans of each team for big games. In addition, the “live and loud” listing for most Sydney “sports” pubs has some dumb qualifying quoted for that time… plus a lot close at 2am so no good for extra time and pens (if needed… gulp!)

Might be worth reaching out to him if looking for a partner in crime and/or have a better idea!

At home, alone. I can't believe anyone actively wants to watch us in a play-off final in public. I watched us love to Wolves with Scousers and I just wanted to be alone, in a darkened room with a loaded gun!

Completely agree. Last time I watched a play off final in public I smashed up my umbrella to the bemusement of the good folk in the 24 hour pub in the middle of Brisbane at 4am and the embarrassment of my wife (I said it'd be better not to watch it with me). Sofa with no sharp or throwable objects is best for me.

Midnight ko here so will likely watch on my dodgy stick at home. Have a stag do during afternoon but will take it easy. He's a big villa fan so won't be offended if I leave early for a nap.
