The weather looks bloody awful for Saturday.

I can't wait...

McCarthy will attempt a clearance only for the wind to catch it and it end up in our net for their winner.

.... as far fetched as that seems, I have vague recollection of seeing something similar only a handful of years back in Warwick during a game where the wind was particularly gusty and our keeper (i was not palying but coaching - too old for that nowadays) cleared the ball only to watch in horror as it caught the wind and sailed back over his head into the goal - don't believe it was the winner - but, my, how we laughed

If anyone has ever played on Sky Edge, they'll know what wind is,...once played a game there, where every time the keeper took a goal kick it went for a corner to us, then the corner would go for a goal kick down that ruddy big cliff, and the whole process would start again. He hit his own crossbar with one. i was a bemused onlooker from the other end trying to withstand the hurricane from behind me and the hail stones that began falling. It hurt a lot, but in them days (like when you caught the ball smack in your face or blocked a pile driver with the back of your leg on a cold freezing morning), you had to smile your way thro the pain barrier, or be hailed as a 'big puff' or worse to that effect.

After having the ball in play within 3 yards of the corner flag for approx 20 seconds of the first 10 minutes the game was abandoned

if it starts wazzing it down (we're uncovered) the boys can have a quick look at the inside of the ground and then can spend the rest of the game in a pub in fleetwood:(

Just had a local weather report, gale force winds and hail this afternoon. They're expecting it to have gone by the weekend :)

And does anyone know the times for the trams and where the tram stop is from the station
Come out of the station, under the subway, head right towards the prom, tower to your left. Trams are every 10 mins or so, around 30 mins to Fleetwood.

Okay thanks, train comes to dore where I'm getting on at about 20 -25 past 9 and gets to blackpool north for 12 o'clock u reckon that's enough time before the game ??

My 'man on the spot' says it's fine today but freezing, same expected tomorrow, best of the weather in the afternoon :)

We land at 10:29 tomorrow... cheapest trains.

I make an early prediction that I am going to be knackered, pissed and starved through with cold by the time we kick off.

I am relieved to see that the BBC have downgraded the heavy rain showers to light rain showers - if they're owt like we've been having in Sheffield, it's mainly wet snow anyway.

What did you find this forecast on?

Have no fear all, glorious blue skies with just a nip in the air. Slight chance of the odd shower just before kick-off.

See y'all in The Straw :)

Aye... Bright and sunny in Blackpool.

Just in Wethers for breakfast.

If we lose today I see this board....

In Strawberry Gardens at the moment

I'd have thought of something better to do rather than go Strawberry picking Foxy :)
