Big test in midweek without Fleck. I assume Basham will move forward. Fleck and Coutts are vital for us.

Lucky not to get himself sent off tonight for his kerfuffle when Duffy was being subbed.

I thought he was a bit low key tonight. What a result though. I'm going to get altitude sickness

Not sure if it's because I watched on TV or what but I thought that was Flecks worst game of the season.

thought fleck had his worse game since start of the season, and coutts most certainly did.Dont think he did anything that wrong on the ball Fleck, but was unafective for a lot of the game.

I feel caruthers is our most like for like replacement - but not sure he has the tactical discipline to place in a central 2 like fleck does.

Could be Lundstram to build off some of his more impressive recent performances.

Fleck was the weakest link tonight, didn't look on his game. The rest will do him good. More than happy with Lundy or Sammi coming in.

I though Fleck was poor tonight apart from a few class touches, a rest for a game might be just what's neeeded.

Not his best performance but he was still box-to-box covering a lot of ground.

I'd guess Lundstram comes in like he did for Coutts.

What I think is actually amazing is that both Fleck and Coutts had off days tonight, yet we still won and still looked a pretty solid team. This spirit that we have shows that even with the midfield dynamos not on their game for a change, we can still do it! Basham also looked a bit out of sorts, but then Stevens, Baldock and the rest come to the fore. This is surely the sign of a team going places? We are not a one, two or three man team, we are a squad of players who can mix, match and come up to mark when some are not on form. I'm completely flabberghasted at what has been achieved in such a short time under Wilder and Knill. I liken it to the Clive Woodward era for England Rugby, and look where he took them. He tried to replicate it at Southampton, but failed under Redknapp's management - no surprise really! I honestly think Wilder and Knill are applying the same principals, with their own bent on things and a bit of added Sheffield grit. Times are great, what more could we want.
