Fleck - The end

That goal meant a lot to Flecky and just look how the rest of the team get around him. We know, they know and he knows that he’s needed that one as much as anyone else on that pitch.

As much as the two debut lads scoring was great, as much as Ozzy putting two away was fantastic, Fleck scoring (right boot as well) was just the icing on the cake.

I thought him and Norwood looked great yesterday

Yup, if the Fleck and Norwood from old have rejoined in the summer window, then we are in for a good season. Fingers crossed, I enjoyed seeing them yesterday.

Had his best game in a Utd shirt in 18 mths , played very well linked up with the front 3 well & put some great tackles in . It was as somebody had swapped out some cheap Moor Market batteries in him for some Duracell ⚔️

No more Fleck please. The form was temporary, the drop in ability is (unfortunately) permanent.

His passing was Monty-esque at times tonight.

It's a shame as he was possibly our best player for a long period a while back, but those days are long gone.

How many times listening to commentary 'Fleck... gives it away'

Isn't having a good game today at all got caught in possession far to much. Don't care what anyone has to say about Norwood but it's so clear on todays showing we are much better with him in midfield.

Some of the passes into feet from Egan and Davies have worked out well- just look at the pass into Didzy for the first goal on Saturday where he turns and flicks it on. When the player knows where oppos are around them and can turn it works really well and we can play through midfield. But some of the passes from Egan today into Fleck where he clearly didn’t want the ball led him to give it away. For me there isn’t enough of players helping each other and showing for the ball, so too often it’s poor passes to players who aren’t ready to receive it. Ndaiye is another one who can turn and make it look great, but the reality of football is that it doesn’t always come off

Seemed to be having a BOGOF day regards possession last night. It was like taking candy from a baby as far as Millwall where concerned.

Fleck was absolutely awful for the first 70 minutes. Was lucky to not be taken off. We did see a bit more of the ‘old’ him towards the end of the game. But I agree, he’s done here now.

I don’t think any of Fleck, Norwood, Hourihane or Berge even, are going to be the answer. Can’t comment on Guedioura as I haven’t seen him hardly, but I doubt a 35 year old will be what we need either.
