Fleck comes back in, for who...

He isn’t. Our best player has a broken leg.

Stears and JOC are not up for argument. It’s whether CCV or Bash play at RCB. CCV did really well in the away game at Bolton against their giants and Bash, despite his height, is far from dominant in the air. It’s an even money call which I’ll happily leave to Tufty and One Knill.

Our best player is Fleck in terms of footballing ability and a player who will go on to play higher.

Thank God CW doesn't read the crap on here about Basham, needs a rest? not as good as whoever? what utter tosh . First name on the team sheet for CW every week, a proper Wilder player fittest man on the books, great competitor and despite what our resident experts say can play a bit as well.

Know that do you?

Yeah Fleck in for Bash in midfield - then weighing up who is better to face Bolton at the back - CCV or Bash.

I thought it was Jodie Whittaker? o_O

I think Stearman is Wilders first choice regardless of the opposition .

Apart from the games he was on the bench and Jake Wright played, before he brought him back for Millwall in an attempt to combat their aerial threat

Flecks got a broken leg:eek: . Shit when did that happen? Or is it Duffy you're talking about? Either way thats really bad.

I’m afraid history shows that your opinion on midfield players and proper footballers generally is a little unreliable.

If I want a view on ragamuffin non-footballing shadow-chasers, however, you da man...

Your views on wilder ,weir and Brooks were spot on though

Nobody has praised Tufty more than me. He and I are on precisely the same page. Proper football; the right way. Neither of us has any time for banginituptfield. He confirms those essential facts publicly on a frequent basis. The hoofers try to ignore it, but I see them coming.

As for Brooks, I’ve never said anything detrimental about this talented footballer; just tried to balance the boybander hysteria a little. That’s all. It will reach record levels of lunacy between now and the end of January, you’ll see.

Basham always plays. He is Wilders Paul Madeley. Someone will be rotated out, I would assume Carter-Vickers, from RCB. But I wouldn't be surprised to see Stearman or Baldock rested for a game over the Xmas/NY fixture period, Baldock has done enough running over the last 2 games for an entire month, whatever others think of it. Maybe even Duffy for the Cup game, with Basham back in Midfield.

You didn't want wilder ,his appointment was bladey bladey
parochial dinosaur thinking and you insulted academy watchers who suggested giving Brooks game time

You also continually told people that David weird was the messiah

Game time eh? The very concept cries out U-15s Sunday League.

CCV to the bench, Bash back as RCB.

Doesn't deserve to be dropped, but neither does Bash.

My reasoning is that Bash bombs on better.
Bash is undroppable at the mo. Has to be CCV for me.

Also think with Fleck in there breaking up play it will encourage Lundstram to stay in the middle and stop chasing around the park.

Not in the least. It’s parochial, amateurish nonsense. The Boybanders, on the other hand...
It's parochial amateurish nonsense to suggest playing a young lad who is now worth upwards of ten million ?

But he was played when he was ready. That’s how it works, not giving every John, Jim and Juan ‘game time’ to see if they’re ready. That way lies defeat and failure. Look at the three amigos helping Chesterfield to the Conference. If only they’d had more game time eh? Fucking game time.

Altogether now: Ironside....Ironside.

A fit Fleck plays, even if we’d just beat Wolves 4-0.

Drop CCV, put Bash back into defence. No brainer.

I tend to agree with both propositions, but the former is not set in stone. It would have been said of Sharp not so long ago.

Were not talking about the three amigos thoùgh are we ?(whoever they are )
Were talking about a lad who many regular watchers deemed good enough and they've been proven right

Great. We’ll let them manage the team. Perhaps we should have a parent’s committee? I think you’ll find it’s Tufty who decided when DB was good enough, not ‘regular watchers’.

I think you know exactly who the three amigos are. Perhaps you’re too embarrassed to name the useless articles, all of whom were destined for stardom, according to ‘regular watchers’ (whoever they are). I knew otherwise and said so.

So that’s about 10-1 to me versus the Boybanders in the ‘proven right’ contest. Long, Chappell, Kennedy, Whitehouse, “Fadz”. The list goes on.

....And yet you were insulting the man beforehand.

Gloss it over as much as you like. People know exactly what you are.

Only in pinchy worldis Weirfat cone marking and tippy tappy keepy uppy coca cola better that the class we have now. Where is that cone you love so much? I have told you, CW loves players to run around a lot. He says it in his interviews often.
Sorry we are not going back to your pass at all costs style. We had enough of that static stuff under your favourite manager Weir.

Says the man who heralded Weir as our saviour

Fleck back in the midfield for the utility man Basham.

The back 3 remain the same CCV (who scored the winner at Bolton) Stearman (who scored against Sunderland) JOC ( who is just magic)

Baldock plays first 45 and Basham plays second 45,unless a game time sending off or injury occurs.

Maybe bash is due a rest? Played a hell of a lot of games over the past 2 years. Plus maybe wilder doesn’t want to drop CCV yet incase it makes spurs recall him

If he misses a game here, why would Spurs recall him just so he doesn’t play for them?

Hard to drop CCV but bash does get forward better. Last time Bash got dropped he came back in an absolute beast and has not been dropped since.
Don't think The Don will be getting dropped anytime soon as he works the channels well and rarely gets bullied, as Sharp has been in recent games thus being benched.
In all honesty, it wouldn't surprise me if we see Fleck on the bench on Satdeh.

Nor me.

All things said and done we've just performed admirably against two of the big boys in this league. Whilst one of which aren't pulling their weight, never the less those two squads are packed with expensive, former Premier League players. Neither of those games we're a gimme and we came through them with 4 points, ending a bad run of results in the process which shows huge character.

Fleck will come back into the team before too long regardless however why remove anyone from a squad that through adversity, has shown character and brought home the bacon.

Earn that shirt on the training ground for whilst growing ever hungry is what I say, then shine when the opportunity arises.
