Flares - the consequences

I can confidently say that I would be the first to throw someone else's pint over a flare if someone lit one next to me nowadays.
Especially if I was with VB Jnr.

However. At Wembley in 93 we has 2 of the 3 flares lit in the Utd end that day.
We lit them and just passed it down the line o lads if I remember correctly.

I don't really like to see em nowadays. I associate em to the scum bags at places like Galatasaray. The type of place if I went I wouldn't wanna take little VB. (not that we would ever get to play anywhere like that ever anyway)

A few years i met a complete no-mark who was looking for people to latch on to, as he had got a henri lloyd jumper, and had probably read a couple of hooligan books. He them proceeded to talk the talk by claiming to be the idiot who threw the flares. I then told him that it was niece that it hit. Suddenly he suffered from a sudden loss of bravado and manliness as he suddenly came over aplogetic and claimed it was someone else who had done it
