Have only seen the County and Preston games but Doyle has had to come off with cramp in both. Whatever else you think about him, I can't remember this being an issue in previous seasons and he's always got through a lot of work. Makes you wonder if the training is lacking and that's one of the reasons why we keep petering out in the 2nd half.

agree.. the players didn't look fit to me either..

Baxter looks overweight, but we can attribute that to him not being a Sheffield United player for more then a month. But the fitness of the players is almost Sunday league standard. Where are Daley and Riddle nowadays?

It seems that gone are the days of the super fit blades sides that kept going until the final whistle. They were sides that pressed the opposition from the 1st kick, forced mistakes and weren't the patience side that we've seen from Ribson to Weir. Even under Blackwell we didnt seem quite as fit as we could've been

Under Warnock we had something which kept the players going. Why don't we have that anymore I can't believe that we're not as fit as the teams that we play. We have resources over and above the other sides in the division.

Reading the report of Deadbat from the night with Kozzy and Pesch, it seems that they touched on the spirit of those years.

People call Warnock a dinosaur but what he seemed to have put together was a team, a unit, a united front of siege mentality.

And fitness, those sides were 'up and at em' but to do that they need high energy levels and fitness.

If Weir wants to change one thing it's tempo. Play whatever formation you want but get the tempo up and get them in the faces of teams

Fitness boy Adam - you need to earn your money and keep yourself and Weir in work?,

Fitness is to understand Newtons 3rd Law, not many in the Fitness industry Do.
