I'll go for Scunthorpe away - Feb 22nd. I'll be there, cheering the lads on.

Just like being in Premier this - namely will a point a game be enough to keep us up. Incredibly, I think it might be this time.

I'd go for Millwall at home, although there is a possibility of Ipswich but we never do well there.

Leicester for me. We did enough performance wise to boss the game v Norwich, a week and a half to get some fitness into Bent and Willo.

More time for the solid looking back four to strengthen up on set pieces and we'll be hitting the ground running v Leicester

Millwall at home, then we will win the next two as well(home to Reading and away at Palace)

Looks like they're bringing in Curtis Davies (again) and Patrick Van Aanholt on loan. Be a tough one.

I think Millwall will be Micky's first 3 points and we'll also beat Scunthorpe, Derby, Bristol City and Barnsley. 9 draws, 5 defeats and we stay up comfortably with 51 points.

I'm with Coops, Fester will be looking at an automatic place this season but I think we will end up midtable, but we need a win soon to get us started.

looking at our feb fixtures, 7 games in 26 days, taking into account opposition i would expect 15 points from the possible 21 maybe more, to my mind ALL 7 are winnable, harder opponants at home, saying that ill say Leicester on feb first then onwards and upwards.
my glass isnt half empty or half full, its full and come to think of it, it was a much bigger glass too :)

I think by the sounds of it you have supped too much of whetever it was that was filling your glass.

What's it full of though Munxy? I think I've an idea....;)

Talking to a Leicester fan very briefly this morning who also mentioned that Thierry Henry has been sounded out for a move there. Didn't have time to make him elaborate, but surely that's preposterous even for a rumour!

Haha! Do they know what he's on at NYRB?!!! Football supporters dont half make me chuckle :)

Scunthorpe away. Think we'll get done by Leicester, will be at both, and as always hoping, crossing everything and praying for wins in both matches but realistically I think it'll be Scunthorpe by a goal to nil.

Not sure why so many think well win at Scunny. They beat us with ease at their place virtually every time. And they will be well up for it. Think they will score 3 goals as usual. The one v Leicester could go either way, just like most games we have lost at the lane this season, therefore I predict defeat. Dont see it at Ipswich either. Our last visit there was a 3-0 win but prior to that, we were winless there since about 1968?

Millwall at home probably.

I think we'll be too much for Scunny but as I said, only by the odd goal. I think Leicester have too much quality for us, Ipswich will be too much for us, and Millwall is a game I'd like to think we could get 3 points from-they have been a bit up and down this season though in terms of performances.

We will beat Sven's collective a week today.

UTFB you set of mealey mouthed whingers.

I'm going for Milwall at home.

I also think that we have a good chance at Ipswich. They are not a bad team, but are low in confidence. They seem to be similar to us, in that they are playing well but giving away stupid goals. They played well last night againt Arsenal, but gave away a soft goal and then got comfortbaly beat. I think Ipswich vs Blades will be tight and whichever defence gifts the other will decided it!? Also it depends on Tuesday outcome. A point at home to Leicester (best I am hoping for) would be good to take into the next match. Similarly if Ipswich beat Derby next Tuesday then they might be well up for the game.

I was hoping for a miraculous Ipswich result last night. A Wembley final could easily have taken their eye off the ball for the games inbetween.
To be honest if we can't beat Millwall then we are in deep deep shite.

we never seem to win at ipswich or norwich.. do they have different gravity in east anglia or what?

We stuffed Ipswich last year and had a big party in the stands upon confirmation of the piggy demise, first time in a while admittedly we have won there but we proved we can do it!

yeah you're right.. with all of the hullaballoo about the 'piggy demise' and it being the last game it got a bit overshadowed that one.. we don't win there very often.. i think we beat norwich the time the kop roof was off.. and that is about it
