First game huge for us, we have been handed a tough first month, but the first game against Brentford is eminently winnable (but not easy)

Win that game and we may pick up a few other surprising points in the following few games.

Dont win and it will be very difficult to get off to a decent start to the season.

For me it's vital we get off to a solid start and Was wondering How many points do people think we'll have on board from the first 6?
I reckon we'll have 7 with wins against Brentford and Barnsley. Draw with Sunderland and then lose to Middlesbrough and derby.

The points are less important than the performances early on but it's all about confidence ultimately. If we lose a few early on all the "We're not good enough" brigade will be out and the confidence will take a dive.

I am a bit more optimistic than you. I think we'll get at least 12 points from the first 6 games. That's me being pessimistic actually!

If we can't beat Brentford at home then I'm struggling to see how we're going to get to 50 points. Six points each off the pigs and Sunderland won't be enough.

Not saying we can't mate. Just saying they're a decent championship side. There are better and worse sides of course but it won't be straight forward.

Brentford is the season definer. Don't win that one and we are down by Halloween.

I'm hoping for a solid start, 6-8 points from the first 6 games. If we get off to a bad start it's going to be a tricky year. A solid start will do me fine enough.
