For me it's vital we get off to a solid start and Was wondering How many points do people think we'll have on board from the first 6?
I reckon we'll have 7 with wins against Brentford and Barnsley. Draw with Sunderland and then lose to Middlesbrough and derby.

Not be end of the world if we do a bit of yo-yoing , last season was great and Wilder/Knill would get us up again , no pressure on us .

There's already a thread on this somewhere, with everyone's points predictions on buddy.

Got to beat Brentford, its the key to settling the players nerves and the fans nerves, gets the ball rolling.

We're not talking about fans nerves again, for Christ sake.

It's not vital we win the first game. It wasn't vital last season. It's vital that the fans support the team if we lose the first 3-4, not spit the dummy out or complain about nerves.

I'm not having the atmosphere is shit because we're all nervous bollocks. That ship has sailed.

Yes point taken, but it would be better to win the game than lose it.

Brentford is definitely a must win

Joking aside I do think we'll get off to a solid start with momentum from last season. 10 points from first 6 is my prediction.

Our start last season was on the back of a poor set of results/performances in pre-season.

get pre-season right this season, and lets be right, this is now Wilders/Knills team, not an inherited one, then we should start the season much better.

Some people sit on fences - some people don't, so first 6 games - W2 D3 L1. Beat Brentord, draw M'boro away is the start for me. As some have alluded to already, if we can't carry last seasons momentum into this season then it's going to be a long hard season. I fully expect us to carry it through - bit like Barnsley did.

Come on CW & AK - you've had a season - just get pre-season right.

Do you have a link buddy.
I don't pal as I'm a complete illiterate with this technology stuff, il try and do it but hopefully a cleverer person will take pity and assist me (by "assist" I mean do it for me obviously!!).

Thanks in advance whoever does it;)

I'm just hoping for more of the same from last year. Playing good football and entertaining the crowd . Mid table finish would be great anything else is a bonus.

Brentford are a decent side. I'd like to win the game obviously but my concern at the moment is I don't think we look much stronger than last year based on our current signings. Therefore I don't think we can just expect to beat the likes of Brentford. I'm still hoping for a couple of 'big' signings.

If we can't beat Brentford at home then I'm struggling to see how we're going to get to 50 points. Six points each off the pigs and Sunderland won't be enough.

Hopefully in the first 6 games we'll play 6 teams not 5

Brentford will be a lot better than people think next year. Not many teams have a better front 3 than Vibe, Jota and Canos.
